I use these as frequent snacks. As a T2 diabetic I need high protein low carb. I really liked the previous flavor but I'm not wild about the change.

I used to love the chocolate protein shakes. They were my favorite shakes and I drank them every morning. The new formula is absolutely disgusting. It was hard to choke down and I thought I was going to be sick afterwards. I need to find a new alternative because I won't be purchasing these any longer.

This new formulation of the chocolate flavor tastes horrible! It has almost no chocolate flavor. It basically tastes like vitamins mixed with milk. Even more importantly, for customers that are using this product for much needed protein but also have daily sodium limitations it has increased the sodium by 27%!! It increased from 180mg to 230mg with no warning! This is poor customer relations. Unacceptable. Put the old formula back into production. Will the sodium levels be increasing in all your flavors? I think I will be looking for a better, cheaper alternative.

I've been using the chocolate Premier Protein for breakfast for years. The other day I go to buy some on sale at Costco and what does it say on the box "new & improved flavor"! That scared me and rightly so. It's still OK but now it hasn't aftertaste and it's sweeter and thicker. I don't like it well, at least I won't be tempted to have it when I want something sweet.

I drank the chocolate shake for breakfast for the last 5+ years. The chocolate flavor was the best of any ready-to-drink shakes I'd ever had. Now I purchased the newest package and as I read the label it was obvious they downsized on many of the vitamins and INCREASED the amount of sodium by 50mg. Going from 8% to 10%. I was hoping to not notice it in the flavor of the drink, however to my displeasure, the sodium was quite strong. And the chocolate flavor has been absolutely watered down. It is extremely, extremely, disappointing. And I've already begun to research other options. I'm so disappointed, as I loved this flavor so much and loved the fact that it had the most protein. But sadly, I'd rather take a cut in protein in a morning shake then drink the new version of the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake.

As a graphic designer, I clocked the updated brand and packaging immediately and was so excited to try the new flavor, but after tasting these, I'm less than excited with them. The taste is much more "pure cocoa"/dark chocolatey vs the previously sweeter shake and I'm pretty bummed about it. I loved the original flavor. We switched to these shakes from Fairlife because we felt we got more bang for our buck with them (vitamins, energy, quantity, etc.) and the flavor was so good. I'm still adventurous and excited to try the other flavors you offer, maybe I'll find a new favorite, but overall bummed with chocolate 😞

The plastic bottled version is good and I never had a problem with it, tried the cardboard containers for a quick fix and sure enough like other reviews stated 1/4 of the containers had a leak or something wrong with it and had totally spoiled milk in it, I could tell right away but non the less I’m still disappointed considering these are not very cheap and the smell was very rancid.
Spoiled - NEVER purchasing again.

I have been purchasing this protein for the past month. Purchased this box and took a huge gulp out of the first protein shake to find out it was beyond spoiled, curded, separated and smelt horrific. I will NOT be purchasing this brand ever again. The disturbing thing about it, is the entire box was spoiled and even date April 2026, however only half of the protein shakes within the box were even dated. Disturbing! You can’t even trust expiration dates!

Absolutely love this protein drink I have a hard time getting in my protein while doing Zepbound, this helps me tremendously ! Just wish they would offer coupons for a discount as it gets pretty expensive ! The taste is amazing with the chocolate , no after taste and its wonderfully creamy! To be honest, I do alternate with another brand, good but not as good in both taste and protein value , however it helps cut the expense. We do what we have to do! However Premier is my ultimate favorite!

I have been searching for a meal replacement protein shake that has a lot of protein and a good taste. After wasting tons of money and time going through lots of the gross ones that are so grossly over sweetened and then do not taste like the flavor advertised, this one won out. It tastes just like Mayfield Chocolate Milk. Stick it in the freezer for 30 minutes and it's so good and so cold. Yummy.
