Didn’t realize until it was too late that the it was chipped inside, also the jute wrapping flakes off all over the place while pouring.

I do love the look and craftsmanship of the Kettle. Also, the weight is perfect. My only concern is the warning included with the kettle. Obviously, some chemicals can leach from the pot into ones brew. I realize California is zealous about informing of potential risks for poisoning, just wish they would breakdown how to avoid contamination. This was the only tea kettle that stayed water could be heated on the stove. Since interior is coated, wondering how do I avoid contamination while using.
