  • A: This is an actual water tea pot. I have a glass top stove and it works great. The bottom looks like the bottom of a well made pan. It says to use low to med flame on gas stoves. Hope this helps.

    Item arrived damaged due to poor packing practices. Lid (which fits the teapot loosely) fell off in the box, rattled around, and scuffed the teapot in multiple places. Now I will have to return it, as I am not going to gift it in this condition,

    Stylish kettle

    This is my 2nd one of these. I had the green one previously, but it isn’t sold anymore. I got the cream and bronze this time and it is just such a beautiful piece. I keep it on my stove all the time and it works great!

    Loved, until it RUINED my stove

    We have an (expensive) induction stove. There was some reaction with this kettle and our stove, and now our (1 year old) stove has a very obviously discolored burner from using this kettle! There was a crazy odor, and the next day we noticed a mottled, rainbow-like hue left from the kettle. Too late to return the kettle, and now this expensive stove is messed up! there is even a TEXTURE on the glass. if you have an induction stove DO NOT BUY.
