Q: I was going to purchase the Sparkling Cinnamon Tumbler as a gift . Why are there negative comments about the scent not lasting. Is there an explanation why there is an issue with the scent ?

  • A: Hi! We appreciate your interest in our products. Smelling the fragrances is very subjective thing and can be affected by many factors. We take great pride in the fact that we use as much fragrance oil as we can to create a smell that is as true-to-life as possible while delivering a candle that will burn properly from the moment you light it until the end. There are, however, some scents that are just naturally stronger than others (think of a bouquet of flowers, chances are the lily will be the scent you smell above all others). Sometimes there is a scent that is more difficult for one person to smell while others smell it very strongly (cinnamon is a perfect example of this).     I had great hopes

    I love Yankee but this scent ea s a bit of a disappointment. It is way too light, and has absolutely no projection. Even in a small bathroom you barely smell it.

Compared to some of our fresher or sweeter scents, Amber & Sandalwood is intentionally more understated and comforting rather than bold or sharp. Because of this, its fragrance throw can feel lighter, especially in larger rooms or open spaces. To help ensure the best performance, we recommend burning the candle long enough for the wax to melt fully across the surface (about 3–4 hours), trimming the wick to ¼ inch before each use, and placing the candle away from drafts or strong air circulation. These factors can significantly impact how fragrance is dispersed.
