    Great suit, poky underwire issue

    I've been buying this suit for years but, like others have mentioned, the quality and size have changed. I wore the last suit I purchased only a handful of times and the underwire poked through on both sides. I called about it and Land's End said I could return it, but that's not the point. This suit, overall, is a godsend for large-chested women like myself and I'll keep buying them because they're the only ones I can find that fit well. I've sewn the underwire casing to prevent poking, but I'm hoping the message will sink in that the underwire needs to be encased in stronger fabric so this problem won't occur.

    Finally the Carmela is back

    I’ve bought this suit for several years now but was so disappointed with the ill fitting version last year. This new dark wine floral pattern is pretty and fits more like my older ones. I’ve only worn it once but hopefully it will be available in more colors and prints

    Very disappointed

    I am in the process of returning this item, the back and front are different shades. The back is just spandex which means when worn it stretches allowing the skin to show through which is unacceptable. I already have one of your Slender Swimsuits which I wear regularly without any issues.

    Great suit for water fitness

    I love the style, coverage, and fit. My only gripe is it fades. Please DO NOT discontinue this style. This one is perfect for those of us who prefer the underwire, the draping, and a bit more coverage in the front. Would love to see more colors. The blackberry was gorgeous. The dark wine is the worst fader. Teal? Navy?

    This is my second time buying this swim suit. I swim daily. Obviously I like this particular suit. It is very comfortable and fits my body well and I look good in it. I have many swim suits from Land's End and I like all of them.

    Underwire poked through and suit is sadly faded

    I bought this suit 3 months ago in the plus size long torso version in the blackberry color. Within a week one of the undermines poked through the fabric, so I had to remove both of them. The description claimed thefabric is chlorine resistant, but 3 months later the color is faded and patchy. The suit fits well even without the underwires, but it is most definitely NOT chlorine resistant! Luckily I bought it 50% off on sale at the end of the season, but zI expect better quality from Lands End

    Pretty suit; terrible underwire!

    I purchased one of these suits and liked the fit so much that I purchased a second one a short time later! However, now I'm disappointed that I did. I've had wonderful luck with previous swimsuits from Lands' End - they have been long lasting, color-fast, and comfortable. Of the two suits of this style that I now own, I've worn the one maybe a dozen times and the other about half of that. The underwire on one the first has completely come out and the underwire on the second is already painfully poking through. It's just such a bummer!

    Fading already

    I started wearing this suit to the pool about a month ago and it’s already beginning to fade. It’s still holding its shape but I feel it won’t last more than a few months. The wiring began to protrude and I removed them.

    Great style, fades quickly, not satisfied

    I have bought several of these suits over the last two years. I use them a lot for water aerobics classes. I really appreciate a "petite" swimsuit as I am a little short at 5'3". My main complaint, it only takes a few wears for these suits to start fading. What's the problem Lands End? I see many reviews with the same complaints. I will buy again when you can fix this problem. These suits are costly, and it's just not worth the money spent to only last a few months. So sad, as the style, etc., is excellent.
