Have had my Vivosmart 5 for about 2 years now and before a Vivosmart 3. It does an excellent job keeping tabs on my health stats on Garmin Connect.

It needs to be charged everyday. Tried deleting the pulse & oxygen reading & had to delete the app on my phone. Since then, the screen has a sample? of options available that just keeps running over & over.

I really love the watch and its many features. The only thing I would like to see as an option would be a band made from a different material, as I have very sensitive skin and it does cause irritation.
So far so good

So far I am enjoying my Garmin Vivosmart 5, but there are one or two small issues. First one is: it is nearly impossible, to get help with scaling down some parts of the watch. For example: my battery was draining quickly, and I couldn't figure out why. In the space of 24 hours, I went from 100% to in the 70's. I had to get help, from ChatGPT to correct it. Secondly, on your app there is no way to tell what your battery charge level is. I'm a previous Fitbit and Keep Health user, and they always had that feature on their apps. Other than these two issues, I have been enjoying the Garmin, and I hope to keep enjoying it.

I got this one about a month ago and really love the features. It will track activities including swimming or walking, running, heart rate and actually remind you that it's time to move a little bit!! There are so many cool features that i have not had a chance to try but sure it will be very helpful! Definitely worth trying it out.

Had this for about 3 weeks, not reliable , inconsistent HR and OX. Only thing reliable is timekeeping. Oh, the other issue is half display is dim.
Great features!

I purchased the vivosmart 5 about 2 weeks ago and really like it. I have had several Garmin devices in the past and this one is as good as the others.
Love it

I received a VivoSmart 5 as a Father's Day gift to replace the broken strap/band on my VivoSmart 4 that I used for years. I find the band for the large size VivoSmart 5 to be clunky and difficult to use. The ring to contain the excess strap on the band once it is on your arm is extremely difficult tho adjust while putting the device on, wearing it or especially while removing the device. No problems with any of the functions of the device.
Enjoying the change

my Fitbit died and since they’re phasing it out I just decided to try the Garmin. I am still getting used to it, but so far it’s been an added supplement to my life.

I have a small wrist band. I find it quite big and bulky and stiff. I really liked the wrist band on the vivosmart 4 becuse it was pliable, comfortable ans smaller.

I received this a few months ago. It's not very accurate. It tells me I just woke up when actually I had been awake for a couple hours and had driven across town already. It tells me to move when after being active for an hour and then sit down

I've got other Garmin devices and had high hopes for this. Unfortunately it is difficult to set up and customize, the touchscreen isnt responsive and the widgets are so small, some are difficult to decipher. I'm disappointed.
Does exactly as suppose too

I like the watch, does exactly what I hoped it would do. Only thing I don't like is that it is constantly letting me know when it connects/disconnects from my phone. I could do without that. Otherwise, its great

My daughter bought it for me for Mother's Day. It helps me to remember to move and stay hydrated. I am 72 and have been walking over my goal of 2500 steps daily!

I bought the Vivosmart 4 for my husband but the band drove him crazy so I wore it for years until it broke. The band on the new 5 is awesome!!! Love the features and the bright new face on the watch

I love this style of watch. I don't like the big round face watches. What I don't like about the watch is the band does not hold the watch very stable. I have apparently brushed against something without noticing, a few times and the watch has fallen out of the band.
