Great storage solution – sturdy and spacious
This tote is amazing. My Christmas decorations are usually stored in 4 different totes. This year I was able to put all my decorations (minus the three and ornaments) into the entire bin. The lid fit perfectly. No issues whatsoever. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

Garbage lids
Lids are garbage and you cant find replacement ones! Stay away from sterilite!

Did the job of 2 containers
(I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.) I have one of those branch-by-branch assemble Christmas trees, and previously was using 2 long, flat containers to store the pieces, which was very awkward to haul up from the basement. This tote is able to accommodate the entire tree, which is so much easier (and space efficient). Lid stayed on securely, so it will remain clean and dry until next year. Handles made it very easy to carry, as well.

Great tote for storing a Christmas tree
I am so happy to be able to use this tote for storing my Christmas tree. Up until now the tree has just been stored in its original cardboard box, which by now the box has seen better days. We don't have room in the house for storing the tree so we store it in our garage. I've always worried that maybe a small insect could find its way into it and do damage, just even dust getting into the box, etc. I won't have those worries now by using this tote to store the tree in. The tote appears to be well made and I actually like it being the color black. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

PERFECT for 18" Doll Toys and Accessories!
Well, it's time. Our daughter is a teen, and is now packing away her 18" dolls and accessories. She loves the historical dolls, and we have some massive pieces that need large totes. This Sterilite 50-gallon modular stacker tote was PERFECT for our situation! We were able to fit the 1700s doll carriage in successfully, along with some other 18" doll furniture and accessories with room to spare. She was able to add some of her fashion dolls and their accessories and furniture to the bin as well. The lid locks firmly in place, no moving around, and seals on all ends, so the dolls and their pieces are protected for years to come. The plastic is thick and sturdy, and the corners are firm and don't give way. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

Good for Big Storage
These bins are very large and when full, are quite heavy to move. But if you need to store a lot of bulky items, these are great for that. It seems to seal tightly and the plastic is strong. Some reviewers said the lids crack when stacked. I don't know about that, since I have just the one. We are using this to store some toys we don't use anymore that are nicer so I don't want to give away, like a wooden train set with tracks. So far the box seems sturdy enough for storage. Great size and features!
I really love this 50 gallon stacker tote! It’s really nice that it’s not in an extremely loud color. It’s black with grey handles. The lid latches super tight and you can tell that it’s a thicker industrial material that won’t warp overtime after lots of stacking and stuffing. The shape and dimensions of it are great as well especially for storing large holiday decorations or other items. These types of items can be difficult to fit due to other dimensions, but not with this tote. I also love that the interior of the tote which I can show in my pictures does not have a lot of cut outs which affect the storage space. It’s a nice wide open area.It’s extremely wide and then has similar dimensions in terms of height and depth. I can’t wait to get more to stack on top. I’m very very happy with it. Large and functional storage bin
We loved this large storage bin as it was ideal for storage of larger items in our household. It is sturdy, durable, and doesn’t weigh much on its own. It functions as a storage bin that can be stored on a rack if you have a larger rack organization unit in your home. The top latch easily latches on and nearly impossible to come off. With that said, it holds all content secured during storage. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

Lids Break Quickly
Tote was perfect but the lids broke quickly because they're too thin. Now I've got a bunch of useless totes and these things weren't cheap either. Don't buy.

3 Totes, 3 Bad Lids, No Replacement Parts
I've purchased 3 of these. The lids for all 3 wore out and cracked in just a few months. The totes are now unusable. I looked all over and cannot find replacement lids.

Sterilite deserves 5 stars, BUT
I can only give 4 stars for these bins, as my original order had 3 damaged lids and the replacement order ALSO had 3 damaged lids. The damage was not minor, but gaping breaks on 1-2 corners, likely due to rough handling of the stacked bins/lids. Target was great in replacing the first set. We were able to make one good set from the 2 orders. But beware…it’s not an isolated issue. Buy them in store so you can choose intact lids.

Great Product
I have four of these 50 Gallon containers and 1 45 Gallon Container. They are used to store Christmas decorations - some light, some heavy. I've been very pleased with the product overall in comparison to my other storage totes. They are durable and stackable and I've been using them for several years.

Bad lids make a bad product
As others have noted, the tubs are reasonably durable. The lids, however, crack and/or break astonishingly easily. Replacement lids do not appear to be available, so the entire container becomes useless and a waste of resources.

The lids are of such bad quality
The feedback from Sterile is that the products/lid defects are not a manufacturer issue but I disagree there is nothing that the store could do but advise the consumer to purchase another container only for it to happen (break) again there should be Replacement lids sold since this seem to be an issue
