The unique color offers a softer alternative to traditional black, making it suitable for everyday wear. However, some guests noted issues with flaking and smudging, particularly in warmer conditions. Not great
This mascara is clumpy and does not give anywhere close to the volume as the High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara with the silicone brush, so disappointing they are discontinuing and have no silicone brush in their line up.

It was dry
The product was dry Very expensive and to not get the full effect I'd rather stay with the L'Oréal

Great Waterproof Mascara
I've been using the same mascara for about 8 years, so I was honestly a little hesitant to try a new one, but I really ended up liking this. I've been using it for a few days now and it goes on super smoothly and separates my lashes really well without clumping. It lasts all day for me with no flaking or smudging. I've used waterproof mascaras in the past, and this one actually holds up really well to tears and humidity. I usually do a couple coats to build some volume, and it made my lashes look thicker and darker without feeling heavy. Overall, it held up great from morning to night and I'd definitely recommend it. I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes.

Clumpy
This mascara dries clumpy and did not do what it advertised. I could not see any increase in volume.

AWFUL!
I would not buy again! It flakes off! I've never had a mascara do that. The regular high impact stays on until you remove it.

I always come back
I love this mascara! I have been using it for years. Every so often I'll get a sample of another brand or try something new, but I'm never happy with it. High Impact mascara provide just the right amount to length and volume to give my lashes a boost with out looking over done.

love this formula
I've been using the Clinique High Impact High-Fi Full Volume Waterproof Mascara in Intense Black mostly in the morning as part of my everyday makeup routine, and I'm really impressed with how well it holds up throughout the day. The formula feels lightweight on my lashes but still gives noticeable volume and length without clumping. I especially like that the waterproof formula keeps my lashes lifted all day, even in humidity. The brush coats each lash evenly, making my eyes look more defined and bold. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, and it doesn't feel heavy or flaky. Overall, it's a great option if you want fuller-looking lashes that last all day. I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes.

AWFUL APPLICATION BRUSH...FALLS APART
Maybe the mascara itself is okay, but the application brush is a horrible, stiff plastic, and pieces of it were coming off....including into my eye. I threw it out. Now watch....I'm going to get the same canned "your comment is important to us" response. They actually don't seem to care, and if you do call, you get someone who is clearly in a call center somewhere outside of the US.

Barely anything in the tube?
There doesn't seem to hardly be any product at all in the tube. The brush barely has any mascara on it no matter how may times I redip it. The brush is a little wider/thicker than I prefer, but the lack of product is the main issue. What I can get on the wand seems to be okay. It doesn't smudge or clump, but again, there doesn't seem to be hardly anything in there!

Eye lashes on point
I love my Clinique eye lash products and with this one not much is needed to extend and fill in the lashes!

The worst
I wore this mascara to a seminar and at theend of the day my eyes bugged me. I rinsed it off and my eyes were swollen. Then the next morning i had a stye. I taked to a clinique consultant and she said its bevause they have a higer % of oil in the mascara so it clogged my pore

It does an okay job
I really wanted to love this mascara, but it falls flat. The brush is nice and the formula distributes evenly, yet beyond darkening my lashes, it doesn't do much. There's no real volume or lift; definitely not the high-impact effect the name promises. It also transfers under my eyes soon after applying, which is frustrating since I don't have that issue with other brands. Unfortunately, this won't be making it into my regular makeup routine.

flakes! :(
I really wanted to like this. I kept trying different applicator methods but nothing seems to work against the flaking and the clumping. Without a primer, it starts flaking on me within 2 hours. With the Clinique primer it's better but you might still see some fallout. And it just goes on so clumpy. There's always too much mascara on the tip of the applicator when it comes out. I agree that this is good for all day wear with their primer and the packaging is beautiful. Maybe a good product with those who have shorter lashes?

inconveniently bulky, smeary product
Did not work for me. Big in casing, not in quantity. Does not provide even lashes. Disliked it.

Flakes under eyes
I agree with the review dated 1/25/26...I had the same experience and wish I had seen this review before I purchased a couple months ago. The mascara was so wet that it went on clumpy and then it flaked off under my eyes. There were so many clumps the few times I used it that I had to remove it with my fingers and try again. I tried not using the mascara on my lower lashes and it still left flakes below. I think that next time I try something new, I will purchase through a store that offers 30 day returns on products that don't work for you.

GOAT
Ok I normally don't shop at the counter but passed by and remembered my Clinique mascara was low. The consultant offered to let me try this new one on one eye and the reg hi def on the other. No comparison. Highly recommended if you want lush full lashes and it's moderately water resistant but not "dry and brittle" the way most waterproof are.
