A: We're glad you asked! Clinique Lash Power Mascara stays on beautifully in cool water (an ocean swim, a walk in the rain, or a few tears at a wedding). It removes easily with comfortably warm (around 102 degree) water, so skip the hot tub and press a moistened warm cotton pad to the lashes for a few minutes at day's end to remove.

Perhaps this mascara would work on thick eyelashes, but not mine. Very thin, skimpy coverage, did not " extend" them. Plus the tube is tiny. After washing it off at night, I have found small random clumps of it under my eyes the next day. Definitely a no.

I was recommended this by an employee. I was in search of a tubing mascara that gave lashes a natural look. This mascara started out fine but over time my lashes have clumped together & started to flake when I use it. The formulas itself does not get clumpy in the tube. I wouldn't recommend this mascara.

I love this mascara! I have extremely oily skin and most mascaras create dark circles under my eyes. I don't typically use mascara on my lower lashes for that reason. This has been a game changer. When I do wear mascara, this is my go to, it's lasts all day without any black circles. I use Clinique's Take The Day Off™ Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips and with a couple of swipes, it's off. I see that some people have had issues with losing lashes, I have NOT had that issue at all. This is an amazing product and I can't recommend it enough!

I had to create an account to write this review that is how important I thought it was to share my experience. I don't wear makeup very much and thought I would treat myself to a nice mascara. It does not make my lashes longer or lush just darker and flakey and gets in my eyes. And then I noticed my eyelashes are falling out every time I use it. So disappointing. I see now other reviews are similar. I guess I should have done more research but it was a pick me up purchase that did not.

I have been using Lash Power mascara for several years. Perfect for my sensitive eyes. Lasts! No flaking. Makes my lashes full and long. I love it! Easy off, too. IT IS A TUBING MASCARA. It creates tubes around each lash. To remove, stand in shower under warm water and gently rub with fingers or wash cloth and the tubes will come right off. DO NOT use make up remover or oil. Lots of people including sales representatives don't know that. It's the best!

I have oily eyelids and this is the only mascara I can use! I've tried so many mascaras over the years and they either smudge, flake, or irritate my dry, sensitive eyes. Not Lash Power! The formula doesn't smudge or flake. My sensitive eyes are just fine with this mascara, too! I can even use eye drops without smudges. The formula is highly buildable. I like a more natural look but with a few extra swipes I can have a more dramatic evening look. Both the black and brown colors work well with my fair skintone - neither are too harsh. I've been using this mascara for years and nothing compares! Highly recommend!!

it definitely doesnt smudge but it does flake during application and slightly throughout wear. not a lot of product stays on the brush during application so it seems like i had to dip it in pretty often to get more product. made my lashes look long and pretty but does nottt hold a curl.

This isn’t the prettiest mascara ever, but it doesn’t run under my eyes, so its 5 stars for me. I’m 41 and have been wearing mascara since I was 14, and this is the only mascara I have ever tried that doesn’t end up smudged under my eyes.

I have purchased thus item several times due to twining eyelashes and clumping. It works best when the mascara us newer, it may thicken with time, so a clean application gets more challenging.

As a loyal Clinique user since the 1970s, I'm disappointed in this Lash Power. It's the worst mascara I've used in recent history. It clumps and flakes like mad, little pieces sticking to your face, and is nearly impossible to remove from your face or anything that is left on your eyelashes. I'm also pretty disappointed in what's required for a simple return. This is probably the second time in all of these years I've had to return a product, and it was an unpleasant experience. I'll be shopping for replacements.

I live in the South where the humidity caused other mascaras to give me eyes like a panda bear after a couple of hours outside. I also didn't like the idea of a waterproof mascara since I find them difficult to remove. This mascara was a game-changer - it stays in place, withstanding the high humidity, and washes off with gentle soap at the end of the day. I love this product!

This mascara is a big disappointment because it has clumped and flaked from first opening the container. Clinique has lost its way. Many reviewers have had similar problems with this product; do not waste your money. A drug store brand mascara is better than Clinique's Lash Power. I would like my money back.
