  • A: I haven't had a tearing (or shredding) problem with Quilted Northern Plush. I did with Charmin's "smooth tear", so made the switch. I'm pleased with Northern's quality. I hope that helps.

Q: Are Northern tissues 100% cotton or mixed fibers? I see nothing in the specs regarding fiber content.

  • A: All toilet paper is made of forest products, not cotton. It has to dissolve in sewer pipes and cotton wouldn't work.

    Mega short on one roll

    I bought a pack of that said 24 mega rolls = 96 regular. One of the rolls buried in the middle of the pack was only 3” instead of 3.8 inches. That was a first for me. I’ve purchased Quilted Northern Extra Plush for years but it’s never come up short before. Other than that, the quality is very good.

    Quality product!

    I love all the Quilted Northern products. The rolls last longer than other competitors products. Quilted Northern is sooo soft and amazingly strong. I have no problem paying extra money for products that live up to the expectations.
