Heavyweight Linen Blend Comforter and Sham Set - Casaluna™

Never in my life have I written a review for a Target product - this deserves all the hate!! It’s awful & cheap. When I was making my bed I said to myself that the color was a bit greener than I was anticipating, until the shams came out the correct color. As others have said, they’ve changed the material. The shams are a complete different color and texture. I will be retuning this tomorrow & just ordered what this should have been on Quince for $30 more.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I'm bummed with this quality. The front of the comforter is stiff and rough. The shams are soft and definitely a different material than the comforter - much nicer and would be rated higher. I'd keep it if the comforter and shams were both made of the nice material, but I will be returning. The quality is disappointing for Casaluna and the price.

DO NOT BUY THIS. I have owned this same comforter for a few years and thought it was the best quality so I purchased a new one in a different color for a refresh. They 1000% changed the material. It is the worst quality linen ever. The pillow shams were still the same as the old blend but the comforter itself is SUPER stiff, scratchy and almost starchy. I was hoping washing it might help but I can’t take the risk and then not be able to return it. At this price point it’s ridiculous to have such terrible quality. The pillow shams also have a raw edge (same as always) but the ones I received were in terrible condition shedding and pulling/falling apart really badly that I couldn’t even clean it up by pulling the loose pieces. So disappointed. This has always been my favorite brand.

They have changed the Linen Blend Comforter and Sham Set from the original style. (You may still notice two separate listings with the same title on target separating the old from the new.) The old one was amazing. Our family owns 4 of them. However this new style is terrible. Like others have said, the top is very scratchy and the underside feels like thin sleeping bag material. We even exchanged it thinking maybe it was a one-off. Sadly, not so. Will likely be returning it.

Material is very rough and itchy. I tried to give it a chance but I had to put it away immediately. I was wearing shorts to sleep and it was hurting my skin and I’m not a person who has sensitive skin.

For being so expensive, the quality was not there. It already had tears in it when I got it so I returned it immediately,

My initial thoughts were similar to the negative reviews - linen side would be very scratchy. When I got it delivered, I put it through a wash and dry cycle. Still then I was a little hesitant, but after the first night it turned out great! Comforter is very breathable and cooling. Day by day I feel like the linen got much softer and less scratchy. It had the same texture as the pillowcases it came with - which were very soft/smooth to sleep with. It was worth the purchase for me. The initial wash is definitely a must before using it.

Itchy & expensive. The dark fig color is basically dark purple. Strings are shedding and need cut everywhere. The king/California king hardly covers the edges on my king bed. Worst Target purchase

Very stiff and scratchy. Not like the OG colors-bought the white comforter 3 times with no issues. I will say after it exfoliated your skin the first couple days it does start to get softer and enjoyable. I still wouldn’t buy again, but I washed it and felt weird returning it ‘used’.. thank goodness I bought on a crazy sale.

Not soft, wrinkles easily, ripped after washing 1x. Very disappointed.

I rarely write reviews but for such an expensive product it’s necessary. The material is similar to a burlap sack. Very scratchy. The pillowcases did not match the color of the bedding exactly which was disappointing. The coloring is much lighter than expected based on product photos. The pillowcases have a decorative fringe around, which is fine. However they shed string terribly. Pulling it out of the package alone had the pillowcase and bedding covered in strings. Both the bedding and the pillowcases are extremely wrinkled.

Color was great but the fabric is very rough I can’t imagine sleeping with it

I was super excited about this comforter (ordered the green color) because of the because linen material on the front, but realized after opening it up that the back of the comforter is covered in a cheap shiny thin material that reminds me of a sleeping bag. Not only does it feel bad, but means I can't fold the comforter on the bed without it quite obviously showing. So disappointing for the price point!

Had to return this, literally feels like sand paper!! Couldn’t run my hand over it without feeling itchy. Literally the worst quality….

Terrible to wash- even bringing it to a laundromat with a heavy duty commercial dryer it wouldn’t fully dry. Do not recommend!

the reviews scared me but I really wanted this color (dark fig), I previously had the pink one and loved it. I read the reviews of it being scratchy on the linen side and I felt it in store, and I will admit it was rougher than the other colors, must be something with how this color needs to be made. I took it to my local laundromat right after purchasing since the washer there can handle such a big comforter. After the washer it felt little rougj but it was still wet but after I put in the dryer with two dryer sheets, it was totally fine. Some people might not like having to wash it right away, but imagine how many people touched that before you got to it. I saw other reviews stating how it takes forever to dry, it might be worth it every few weeks to take it to your local laundromat where their machines are big enough to wash, rinse, spin and dry such a bulky item.

Do not buy!! 100% polyester. Feels terrible and scratchy. Will be returning asap
