Olive & June Gel Nail Polish - 0.46 fl oz

I followed all directions carefully and my nails looked beautiful after using. I could not have been happier, until they started popping off of nails the next day. I could barely last 21 hours, let alone the promised “up to 21 days”.

Love this gel system from Olive & June! This color is perfect for fall, stays on like a dream.

Does not dry or harden like regular nail polish. I did not realize it was special gel polish and you’re unable to just put on a single coat and be done. Too bad.

I bought the shade LD and for the first couple of days absolutely loved the color, but by the 5th day I noticed the color had already started to fade and yellow, which is really quite a bummer. Maybe if you use this shade pair it with their peel off base coat because it does not last a full week and definitely does not last the 21 days that they claim.

It comes out slightly lighter, pinkier and more rich jewel tone than the bottle appears, but I am sure you could achieve the darker look with a few more coats. Used as a French tip as well as base with polka dots and looks amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Obsessed is a beautiful gel polish. I have both the LL and Gel versions of this color and there is a difference in the color between the two. Although I love the gel, it is definitely a lighter color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited for these polishes, but over half of the polished in my kit had the caps break off from the black brush holder underneath. This means I can't open/close/paint well with them, and the nail polish has gotten goopy. I haven't used any of them more than once, so super disappointing.

I never used gel polish before this brand and it’s so easy. Got this color to try French tips. I’ll update with a photo if it turns out.

Shade: The Queen Takes Her Tea With Milk Love! I had an allergic reaction at the nail salon a couple of weeks ago despite voicing a HEMA allergy, so I have been on the hunt for a HEMA-free gel. I purchased this shade as a trial run and love it! The brush is tapered and allows for nice application around the cuticle area to avoid flooding, and glides on like a dream. Will def be buying other shades!

Overall, I am not impressed with this nail system. For the price and social media hype, I was expecting a much better product. The product does not last even a week. It chips easily. It's very thin and does not apply evenly. My nails don't feel stronger either. I think there are other better nail systems out there. I would pass and spend your money on a better system.

I have been doing my own gel nails for almost two decades now and never have I had polish fall off the nail from literally SLEEPING. This product is awful. I plan to return. I can't have my color falling off throughout the day and looking unprofessional. So ridiculous.

The texture and application of this was like applying snot on my nails… I’m sure I either got a dud or this was used/returned/damaged

Spent a lot of time trying to get it to cure under the light and it won’t. Other reviews said similar on Redit.

I bought the entire Olive and June system along with the peel off base coat and clear top coat. I had a gel manicure at a shop and loved how long lasting it was and was hoping to recreate it at home for cheaper. Sadly I couldn’t have gotten farther away from what I wanted. Despite following the instructions exactly and curing every thin layer carefully, it started peeling off literally within two hours of application, just from normal living. Forget any kind of cleaning or dish washing; that took the rest of them off right away. I had to redo the entire thing the next day. I tried one more time in case it was a fluke and had the same results. Now I’m out $30+ for the three different bottles of polish required and I can’t even use it.

I bought a few different colors. Some were too thick and gloopy to apply in thin coats (which is the best way to cure gel polish). I returned those without even attempting them. The polish that I kept doesn't really match the bottle color. "Obsessed" looks like a VERY dark purple red in the bottle, but is much lighter and more red once applied. If you look at the review photos, the review by "Cmar" is a very accurate visual. Application was okay and curing went well. Just make sure you have an LED lamp.
