These waterbottles have held up so well against my elementary school aged kids. They get dropped off moving bikes, knocked over on the black top, and thrown around in a backpack — but they're still usable. The only issue we've had is with the handles/locks breaking (on multiple bottles), but it's understandable with the amount of abuse these take on the daily. All the color options mean that no other kid at our school uses the exact same style we have, making it slightly easier to ID them when left behind. Def recommend this brand for busy families!

Just know the current photo for Sandy Shores is not the correct color. This was supposed to be a surprise for my daughter and I now have the wrong color. The color is actually peach with a lavender top not gray with a blue top like the photo.

Straw keeps falling off. Contacted Owala customer service and it is the worst. They keep asking me to post repeated videos to trouble shoot a straw that fits poorly, manufacturing issues, instead of just sending me a new straw. How do I know that it is a poor fitting straw? I bought 2 of these and one straw fits perfectly on both tops and the other one keeps falling off. Their customer service didn’t understand the simple explanation and kept asking me to follow their instructions and shoot a video for me to send so they can troubleshoot. What a waste of time and money. I will never buy another product from this company.

Do not buy. The color is white not blue. The spout gasket on the inside (to prevent spillage) SMELLS so bad like chemicals. Owala CS is unhelpful and this smell has been an issue for over two years according to complaints online and they have not fixed the chemical smell issue.

i really wanted to love the owala water bottle as much as i love the color and aesthetic of it but i just don’t. the straw on the inside CONSTANTLY falls out for no reason which is my biggest issue with it. it also doesn’t keep my drinks cold for half as long as my previous water bottles did (yeti and simple modern) it also took a small fall (no more than 3 feet) off my desk onto carpet and got a significant dent on the bottom so it won’t even stand up right after one small drop. just doesn’t seem to be great quality or durable at all and i don’t understand why people rave about it.
