There are some heart-stopping moments, and the connection between Kingfisher and his ‘Osha’ is pure and beautiful. I only wish there were more steamy scenes. This is book 1 of a trilogy and ends on a cliffhanger. The side characters are also very strong and lovable so excited some of them might get their own stories. Carrion is a fun sidekick who helps to lighten the mood and scenes. Sweet Onyx the Fox is adorable and growing on everyone. Duet Narration by Anthony Palmini and Stella Bloom. This book has so many characters that the narrators did an excellent job with both the main characters but also the side characters as well. Anthony deserves an award for really bringing each character to life from the intensity of Kingfisher to the playfulness of Carrion!

Wonderful! I was so worried about the packaging of this book. I ordered both books at one time and received the second one first. Its packaging on it was horrible! I’m so happy that this one came in a proper box with filler paper to keep it safe.

This book is beautiful but no care was taken in the packaging at all and it came extremely damaged.

I’m excited to read the book and it looks very sleek. But it arrived pretty scuffed up. Several things making it look not as nice which was disappointing.

Great book of course… but the look of this book is beautiful

this isnt about the book ---bought three books for my kid who apparently wants to keep them on a shelf forever after reading them. if your kid is like that...go into the store and BUY the books because target employees do not wrap them in plastic or try to be careful. Bought 3 books and all were unwrapped and one has a torn cover. I dont get it. they act like it doesnt rain. just go INTO the store and buy ypur books if u want a nice copy to keep.

I wrote the same review under Brimstone. My books came in damaged and the stickers left really bad residue all over the covers. Target is HORRENDOUS when it comes to books.

I loved this book, very cute.. but on edge. Count g down the days till the next one!

Great book! Would have been 5 stars but the silver pages were scratched pretty bad on the bottom and the Target 30% off circle sticker left a ton of sticky residue that I could not get off of that gorgeous dust jacket. Super annoying when they could use a sticker that would come off easier and not ship these deluxe editions in a thin plastic mailer that could allow damage to the sprayed/decorated edges.

The book is beautiful and I know it’s a great book because I have read it. I purchased this book for a trophy. Unfortunately there is an ugly Target sticker on the cover and removing it may result in ripping or marring the cover. If you are able to remove it without this happening, then you are left with sticky residue. It would just make so many readers happier if you would stop putting the dang sticker on the book.

Arrived with damage to the pages

The book is fantastic. I wanted to buy this new copy because I love the book but do not buy it from target. The cover it slightly textured and the stupid little target 20% off stickers they put on everything ruined the cover. It won’t come all the way off and left a ton of residue and a nasty circle ring. Very disappointed and will probably return.
