I got this as a gift in July ( we are in Florida way too hot to go outside). All was fine u til today it would not allow my phone and it to connect saying I needed to upgrade software I tried many times and nothing. Called support he said I needed the remote ???? Remote I never got a remote?

You have to purchase an app to get the warranty at a cost of $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. The app has 3.2 out of 5 stars so it is not even a good app. I am highly disappointed in Target and deception
