It smells like real spirilina and it is a nice powder just wish it was not from China.

The powder in the form that it is in is very hydrophobic. I started off using it for my dogs allergies, but that did nothing at all. Then, I tried to use it, but it's like the old Joe Weider Protein from the early 80s, just chunks up. Make sure if you get this, you have some sort of idea how to use it. I would love to use it in shakes, but big powder balls that stick to the roof of your mouth for 20 minutes are kinda useless. I am giving three stars because I am a bit lost on this. There is a good chance that dried algae sticks to the roof of your mouth and is hydrophobic no matter what. I am just saying I went into this for dog allergies, and stopped using it when it went cra cra on me. So, two stars lost, one for me being ignorant, and one for them, that whole not mixing thing would have been good to know, or how to deal with the non mixiness of the product.

This is a product of such superior quality that fills in any nutritional gaps and gives me much of the nutrients my body needs to function optimally and maintain good health in a country that has stripped much of it's good supply from the vitamins and minerals that is needed to sustain life. It also keeps me regular which is necessary for good health. I am highly pleased with this product and will continue to use it.

It is important to get organic spirulina -- it absorbs everything! And this is a powerful supplement for good health.

Amazed by the beautiful blue-green color. Great taste, but prepare to be 'stained' by the abundant phycocyanin and chlorophyll content. Great for heavy metal detox.

May contain lead. This product is made in China, I will not purchase it again. This should not be on your site. I depend on you to provide outstanding products.

I am happy that I found spirulina in bulk. It is very cost effective.

This has the mildest flavor of the spirulina powders I have tried, so it doesn't overwhelm the smoothies I make with it. If you are mixing it into just juice or water, it doesn't dissolve very easily, and can be a little pasty.

I'm usually not too picky when it comes to different health care products, but I have to say I'm not a huge fan of this Spirulina Powder. It doesn't taste the best and it doesn't mix well in beverages. I'm sure it would do fine in a blender, but I don't seem to do a lot of blended drinks in the cooler months so I have just been mixing with Almond Milk in a glass. It sticks to the spoon and to the whisk and makes a mess. I don't think I will purchase again

This is the only product I've ever bought from Swanson's that I was not happy with. I've used Spirulina for a few years now and all I can say is that this is not up to the normal standards. I opened the container and thought it smelled 'fishier" than normal. After the packaging was open for a few weeks, I could hardly stand the smell. I told my husband, "What''s in this? Sardines?". I went back to using Pacifica Spirulina.

This inexpensive spirulina has a nice slightly sweet flavor. I was pleasantly surprised if how much better this made my green shake.

First time we've ordered this. The packet says "made in China" which worried us a little. But, so far all good. We use the powder in our smoothies.

I like this product. The powder mixes well in fluids. I mix it one teaspoon at a time with orange juice or Lemon juice. I take 3 or 4 teaspoons a day. This mixture to me tastes good. Furthermore, the smell, as some reviews claim, is not bad. I recommend this product.

I have read such good things about spirulina, and I like value of the big one pound bags that Starwest Botanical's offers. We are now adding this to our morning smoothies.

Organic Powder Spirulina, an ancient supplement, Swanson Vitamins has the lowest price I could find, but is the same quality product I have seen elsewhere. I take it daily in a mixture of water and Almond Milk, using a small bottle as a shaker. Now that I have started taking Spirulina regularly again, I feel less hungry for snacks between meals and I have more energy and regular elimination. My son mixes the Spirulina in water once or twice a day. I am a massage therapist and have been studying the benefits of algae supplements for years.
