One issue we have found with thus far, is the shaft that connects the shovel is held in by a single metal dowel. While the fit seemed snug, the shovel itself tilts left/right when you pick up the snow. It almost appears that the design should have two metal dowels: one on each side to prevent the tilting?

Way Too Light Weight
This shovel is way too light weight to be effective. I would not recommend it to anyone, because the tub is light plastic and the aluminum blade at the tip of the tub does nothing to cut through the snow. Unfortunately my good steel shovel broke, so now I'm stuck with this until stores get restocked. I should have read the description more closely, because my sort criteria was aluminum, but little did I know the only aluminum parts are the handle and blade. The whole thing needs to be heavier.

The Best Shovel Ever!!
This shovel is excellent!! We recently had 8" of snow. This arrived to me the night before. It was very easy to put together, and quality built. I have Parkinson's, and could no longer use my old shovel another Year. This moved the heavy, wet snow with very little effort. Thank you for making such a quality product!! I have 4 Snowjoe products, and love all of them!!

Not as expected.
I had purchased several shovels last year. They were very easy to assemble. However, when I received this one, I was disappointed because the screws did not fit well and it was difficult to put together. It was also a different color and had a different name on it. If you changed manufacturers I suggest you go back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this awesome shovel just in the knick of time... our lovely first snow in the Midwest, and we had this awesome shovel to work with! The handle on the front REALLY helps take the pressure off of your back and arms when lifting a pile of snow to move it. I really didn’t think a handle on the top could make such a significant difference. The quality is also very nice, I have a feeling this will be used a lot this winter in conjunction with our blower (for bigger snow falls). Definitely a must have item if you get snow!!

Good product - bad instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got to put together and use this for the first time this past weekend. Overall happy with the size / quality of the shovel. The second scoop handle really helps to save my back from straining. The only complaint I have is that the instructions sent with the shovel for assembly were completely wrong. It shows the shaft pieces reversed and bolts in the wrong spots. After much frustration I stopped looking at the instructions all together and just used the photo on the box to reference how to properly assemble.

Less stress shoveling!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this shovel free to try and two days later we got 6 inches of snow! I assembled the shovel the day I got it (very easy to put together). It didn’t stay in the shed long! I was excited to try the shovel because I could tell when I was putting it together that it was sturdy and made of good material. I tried it, I’m 5’2” tall, my son tried it, he’s 5’6” tall and my husband tried it, he’s 5’10”. We all were able to use it without any problems and it was easy on our backs. It made quick work of the shoveling for sure. My husband felt if he was taller than it might be a little awkward to use but it was so great for all of us to use that we’re buying another one!

Good Shovel for Clearing Snow on Sidewalks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good shovel for clearing snow on sidewalks and driveways. It wasn't great at breaking up the ice though. The actual scoop is a plastic that was a little flimsy, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. It was easy to assemble although the instructions were incorrect. It shows the second handle was part of the bottom piece, but it is actually the top piece.

Lightweight and easy to assemble
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised that it would come in a box actually, I had a giggle when it appeared on my door when delivered. I am glad it doesn't need big muscles to put all parts together because I was able to assemble it by myself. It is light and even my 2-year-old daughter could drag it around. This will really be handy in this ridiculous Minnesota Winter. I have only used it on an inch of snow that came this weekend but I could say it really reduce strain on my back unlike my other metal shovel. We usually have 12-20 inches of snow when it gets bad so having this shovel will help me a lot.

Great snow removal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Snow Joe Ergie Systems ErgieShovel is a great product and I received this free to test for TryIt Sampling. I like how it has two handles to make ease with shoveling and very Ergonomic. It has a good height and a large shaft for shoveling up snow. It is very easy to scoop the snow and use both handles to move snow. It was however very hard to put together, and get bolts in. Once put together it was very sturdy.
