On the journey to help foster high quality sleep and electrolyte balance I was turned on to Magnesium Glycinate by my family. After researching options, this formulation from Country Life stood out due to the potency of the dosing, the value, and the processing to make the supplement bioavailable to me. PROS: I immediately saw the benefits with my sleep! There is a natural calming effect that helped ease my busy mind to get to sleep and the depth of my sleep was also noticeably better. I found myself dreaming vividly again too which was an unexpected effect. As a secondary point, I found my magnesium levels balancing out which also helped manage a sensitivity to leg cramping. I've been on pharmaceutical hypertension management for the past 15 years (I'm currently 39 years old) and the diuretic really makes me prone to electrolyte imbalance and cramping. Getting out of that pharmaceutical mess is my current goal and supplements like this have been key. CONS: My only personal shift from the recommended dosing was to reduce my nightly intake to 2 tablets instead of 3. I was blown away how much taking magnesium affects my sleep. Before taking it I would wake up groggy and tired. It would take some time for my body to get going. But since taking it I’ve noticed that more often than not my body wakes up naturally and I feel ready to go. The pills themselves are large, but easy to swallow. I swallow all three at once about an hour before I go to bed. I highly recommend taking this supplement.

Helps with sound sleep, but don’t take during daytime hours or you’ll be sleepy! Compliments getting a sound sleep nightly and yes it helps with bowl movements as well. Clean product like all their products, solid company of quality and pricing.

These are the best magnesium supplements. I'm recently recovering from chemo and in menopause and ny body was cramping so badly. Nothing worked until I tried these. I won't go a day without them. Thank you.

I took 2 pills instead of 3 twice before bed. First night I couldn’t sleep AT ALL, had stomach pain and jitters. I wasn’t completely sure what it was, but decided to stop for 2 days, my symptoms improved. 2days later decided to try it again s in d same thing happened, horrible stomach burning pain and gas, insomnia and jitters. Perhaps too many additives!

I am taking 800 mg daily because of doctor recommended because of migraines.

For years I was taking magnesium glycinate by a different brand, but then they suddenly began adding black pepper extract to it, which supposedly helps with absorption or something. But the black pepper extract was upsetting my stomach very badly (which apparently is common), so I switched to this Country Life brand. I have been taking this now for about a year and am VERY happy with it because it works very well and does not upset my stomach at all because it does not have any black pepper extract or anything else added in with it that causes me to have stomach pains. So I really hope that they never change this item and / or never stop selling this item as it currently is because right now it is the only brand of magnesium glycinate that I can find that does not bother my stomach. Two of these every night before bed has helped my bruxism immensely and also makes me feel more calm and less stress. I take it on an empty stomach with a bit of apple juice because apparently the vitamin C in the juice can help with absorption. Country Life: Please don't change anything about this product and please do not ever discontinue it. :)

I was taking a RX for PVC's. It made me feel dizzy and tired. So I stopped it and started taking Mag Glycinate. I take one in the morning, one in the afternoon and two at night. My cardiologist approved. I am so thankful to have found this.

This is a great product. It is NON-GMO and Country Life thankfully, does not add pepper to their Magnesium unlike many other companies who have just started this practice. As you should know, pepper is a know carcinogen. Thank you Country Life for your pure, non-gmo, no carcinogenic products. Highly recommend!!
