Functional arbor - nonfunctional gate

The overall arbor and gate look nice and the construction was relatively easy and quick. The gate latch mechanism is a joke though. We bought this to keep a toddler and dogs out of a garden area and are going to have to retrofit another latching mechanism. A light breeze will push open this gate.

We have this in our yard since 2007

This has been a beautiful arbor and we get multiple comments every year. A neighbor also ordered one after inquiring where to order it.

Looks great

This gate was easy to assemble and looks really good in our garden. Two negatives...the throw for the latch should be longer and the gate should be a bit taller. We have had deer hop right over it. (My mistake...should have realized it wasn't tall enough.)

I would buy this product again and again.

Love this gated arbor. It's the second one I've purchased. The other is a few years old and looks just like the day we put it in. Beautiful craftsmanship and very sturdy. I would highly recommend this product.

Beautiful end product, but several surprises

It was not very easy to put together. It took us over an hour. If you put the spikes all the way in the ground, the gates drag the ground...photo deceiving. It started to rust at the joints the first day the irrigation hit it. We ended up placing the legs on pavers and then clamped it to the fence panels on either side to stabilize it. We painted the whole thing with black gloss rustoleum spray paint. After all that, it looks great!

Great product for the price and quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great buy for the price and decent quality. Everything is held together with screws and stakes into the ground at each end. Directions needed some deciphering but made sense once you got going. Will look better once a plant is growing up it! #sweepstakes

Gorgeous! Well-built!

This is a gorgeous, well-constructed, simple-to-assemble arbor and gate, and I am thrilled that we chose it! I did a great deal of shopping around and research on arbors before choosing this one, and so I can assure you that it is the best one for the price out there--or, at least it was when I ordered it. I have no complaints whatsoever: it looks beautiful on our yard; the gate swings freely, and it latches both easily and securely; the arbor and gate are built to last. I recommend it highly!

Excellent!

Beautiful arbor and gate! This is a well-constructed, beautifully-designed, high-quality piece, which is fantastic for the price. I shopped around before purchasing it and, of all the similar arches/gates that I found, this one was definitely the best value for the money. It is sturdy, with a gate that both swings and latches easily, and the scrollwork is beautiful. I can honestly recommend it highly!
