Description

The Aspen electric fireplace has the welcoming look of weathered barnwood with iron accents for a rustic look. The pillars surrounding this fireplace open to reveal hidden storage with plenty of adjustable shelving. The Real Flame® VividFlame™ electric firebox mimics the look of a real, flickering fire, but does not require a chimney or vents and conveniently plugs into a standard outlet. This free-standing indoor fireplace has a mantel with a real wood finish and features six flame colors, five flame brightness levels, adjustable thermostat, timer function and automatic safety shut-off. The electric fireplace insert provides supplemental heat for rooms up to 1,000 sq ft or the heater can be turned off so you can enjoy the comforting ambiance of a glowing fireplace year-round. Mantel, firebox with log set, hardware and remote control are included.

Q: Why can't we put a TV on top of the mantel? Also, I know this is made of MDF, but is the "wood look" cheap, just paper that will peel off?

  • A: It may cause the unit to be too top heavy. Same concept on why you shouldn't do it to a tall dresser.

Love it! It's a beautiful piece

We were thinking of installing a fireplace in the basement of our new home, but I came across this site and found this perfect piece. Nice quality and actually heats up the room.

Dented fireplace insert

Large dent in right hand corner in the back of the fireplace insert. This wasn’t noticed until the fireplace was put together.
