Beautiful rug. Just what I was looking for. BUT it had an awful musty smell that I could not get past. Sadly I had to return.

What a great way to add a pop of color to an entrance or foyer. The multicolor blend goes with everything, good quality, and the mail delivery was quick and well packaged. Great buy!

We bought this rug five years ago for our toddler's bedroom. It softened under foot after a year and felt like a typical cotton rage rug. The colors were always stunning and fit nicely in a room with first butter yellow walls and, later, a room with lilac and azalea pink walls. Visitors always comment on how beautiful it is. The varying texture and large chunky weave were not practical for cleaning up stains from children and pets in the first few years. I knew that when I bought it. And there were times, after a bout of toddler stomach flu, when I thought I never should have bought it. We had it professionally deep cleaned offsite once, and it came back fresh as a daisy. I still love this rug. The colors have faded after five years, but it will be in my child's room as they grow up and they love it too.

We loved our first rug for the den in our Florida house. All the colors in the rug tied everything together and complimented the wood floors. The following year while searching for a rug for our sunroom we kept going back to this rug. After pulling out the one from the den to check, the answer was obvious, Yes, we bought a 2nd rug. Now, several years later, we're looking at a third rug to go with our cherry floors on our house up north! The weave is loose and you must use a good rug pad. We take our rugs outside and hang them off the deck to clean them. They are worth the extra work because they are so beautiful.

I bought 2 of the mat-sized rugs for my kitchen and they're perfect; enough color to brighten tempered by creamy neutral. The musty smell that others noted didn't seem any more than would be expected of a textile product that has been in plastic for a while. It has dissipated already, just a few days in. Considering buying a runner for my stairs too~

Loved this rug when it arrived, but soon discovered that it isn't really what I expected. The weave is not as tight as I would have thought to make it good for high-traffic areas. It has been just about 6 weeks since I first put it in my living room and the rug is starting to show multiple areas of un-weaving. Because I purchased the 9x12 size, I am not able to shake the rug out to loosen dirt. Using a vacuum - without beater bar - still pulls the weave. Very disappointed. Regretting this purchase. :(

I ordered a Vista Chindi area rug after seeing it in a catalog, where it appeared to be a soft pink mixed with bright blues, orange etc. Not even close! Back it goes.

Has the odor problem been resolved? I would like to purchase this rug for my kitchen before a party but am concerned about the reviews mentioning an odor issue.

This rug had a very strong smell to it. I had to get a carpet freshener to get rid of the odor.

I love this rug; ordered 5 of them. When they arrived I love the look of them but they smelled really strongly of mold. I was afraid to wash them for fear the dyed cotton would run and ruin the rugs. So, I sprayed them extensively with Febreeze hoping it was just a temporary smell. The Febreeze helped so I went ahed and had a carpet installed permanently install them on my staircase. Well, we were gone for a week on vacation and just returned home and they smell strongly again. UGH. Not sure what to do now bc I paid to install them and also they have been cut up to install. I am very disappointed.

While I loved the rug, when I opened the plastic packaging, it smelled strongly of mold. I pulled it out and also noticed the smell on the inside of the package and even on the brochure included on rugs. I have it stretched out on a drying rack and have been spraying lots of Fabreeze on it. I pulled off the label on the back of it and noticed it said do not store in sealed plastic. I am not returning it, but thought I should mention it in case its something that is happening to others. Interestingly, I just looked at the reviews and see its happened before.

Love my Vista Chindi Woven rug so much, I'm ordering another. The rug adds a nice pop of color to my kitchen. Lots of compliments

I ordered this for the sliding door in my kirchen where our dog goes in and out. The bright colours perfectly complement our floral patterned wallpaper and the quality adds a tasteful touch that enhances the room's decor.
