I was so excited to order this rug for my foyer, but after opening the package up, the colors are not at all what i had viewed! The background color is olive drab green! And so the other colors dont "sing" ! The entire effect is just so drab and unpalatable...not at all welcoming in the space.

I purchased a 6x9 Blue Heron Rug. I put a good quality rug pad under it. It's in a sitting area at our summer lake house. Love the colors and the stripe. It feels great under my feet.

Blue Heron cotton woven rug. This rug arrived beautifully packaged. The workmanship is top notch, and the colors exactly what I expected from the online photo. It is perfect for the space, and I couldn't be more pleased with this product. Our dog loves it as well -- I may have to get her the coordinating Wouf Wear cotton cover. Thank you for a terrific product.

Nice cotton rug. I have two --small and big. As other reviewer said not a thick rug but then only cottons I have seen thicker are "rag rugs" and this one has a much nicer weave than those. I have the 9 x 12 with a rug pad --small is fine without. Large one definitely needs a rug pad or it will slide and look messy. We have a dachshund and a Great Dane and overall it stays in place with the rug pad unless everyone gets too rambunctious. Colors are dark blue (not navy but a tad softer color dark blue) with light blue and dark khaki(ish) tan. If you want this cotton rug look -- nice rug(s). Overall it's held up well so far in main living room after 6 months with older kid family, friends, and 2 dogs.

Be careful buying this rug. It's a lovely rug, but thin cotton. I've kept mine because the colors are perfect and I love how the stripes run horizontally but I wish it was of a heavier, more substantial material. I have placed a good quality rug pad underneath and that has helped somewhat, but it does tend to bunch up and not lay flat from just walking across it.
