Originally hesitated to buy from this 3rd party seller, but couldn't find an OEM Galaxy Note 8 s-pen anywhere else, so I took a risk. Thankfully, the item I received is exactly as listed, an OEM Note 8 blue s-pen. It has all the standard s-pen functions and fits perfectly inside its special slot in the phone. It also included some replacements for the part of the pen that touches the screen, along with a tool for the job. At this point, the phone is about 8 years old (released fall 2017) and I've broken 2 previous s-pens. I write on the screen constantly and the stylus snaps under pressure of my grip after about 4 years. I have never needed to replace the nubby thing inside the pen that touches the screen. I don't know who needs to see a review for an accessory to an 8 year old device (beyond rating the seller), but the s-pen is pretty sweet. You can do a bunch of unique functions, but I mainly use it to handwrite messages, like this review. I write on the screen, the phone converts that writing into text, and I don't have to suffer using the touchscreen keyboard for long messages, like this. Again, the s-pen has a bunch of other functions, but I disabled them and only use it as a writing tool. I used it in grad school and for work. I needed to write a lot of things and take long notes while on the move, so this was perfect. This version of Andrord is now too old for a bunch of apps, but I'm hanging onto it to avoid paying over a thousand dollars for a new s-pen enabled phone. I'll likely get a used phone once this one breaks.
