Almost perfect
Lets be real, you want a high end rug you are not shopping here. However, if you want something to create a space that is budget friendly, these guys have got you covered. This is the second rug I purchased from Rugs.com. My first one came in without incident and was exactly as I ordered. This rug was a bit problematic. It arrived at local delivery hub and sat there for a week. It said the label was not readable. FedEx made it virtually disappear from any links. I called Rugs.com nobody answers their phones. FedEx wont search a package without an active number. Thus I could not get ahold of either place to check on my package. Finally I called a local FedEx shipping store to manually put me through to a customer service rep where I was able to file a search. I also wrote Rugs.com with a very detailed letter regarding the situation. I was very happy when I received a quick and caring response from Rugs.com, assuring me I would get my rug and stay in touch in case it is not delivered. Also, FedEx found my package and I received it the following day. If there is an issue with your order be PRO ACTIVE!!! Also, make sure to mind the tracking dates. That way if an issue crops up you can get in it quickly. The rug itself arrived in good order, it was less saturated than I expected. However, it looks exactly like the photo. The rug is fairly soft but not too soft. It is made of man made fiber but does not have any notable off-gas smell. When I first unrolled the rug it was warped and saggy, however I turned it over for a day and let everyone walk on it while it was upside down on the floor. It is smooth and fine and works in my space exactly as I envisioned. All in all, this is a good midrange rug. It looks like it should last a long time with regular use. It is not perfect, but it looks pretty and works in the space.
