Looks Pretty but FAULTY Product
I’m so disappointed in this fan, I’ve had it for a little over five years. The light has always flickered intermittently. I thought it was maybe a bad bulb, but after reading other reviews, I now know that it’s a faulty product. I’ve also had problems with the switch, one button is compressed so far in and will not come back out. I considered buying a replacement fan, but after reading all the other reviews of poor quality, I will go choose another brand. I looked back at the instruction manual, and this fan only has a three-year warranty on the light part. So disappointing.

Poor design
This fan is not great design. The switch panel on the wall for adjusting the fan and light has 7 buttons, and is essentially a remote control for the fan. When installing the fan, I noticed 2 double A batteries in the fan unit. When those batteries run out, we’ll have to take out the entire fixture to replace it or else it won’t work!

The fan looks nice although it's not as quiet as our old Casablanca fan. Our main complaint is the switch. It's very temperamental.

Hit and miss
I ordered 5 of these fans. Within days of installation, one of the has a light that constantly turns on and off itself. I reached out to Lamps Plus, who told me to reach out to the manufacturer. The manufacturer won't help unless you provide the model number, which is located on the box (long gone in a recycling center) or by taking the fan down and looking on top of the motor. So we spent $250 on a brand new fan but can't use the light.

Installation is a nightmare!
I just finished installing this fan. It works great and looks nice, but was AWFUL to install. Directions are not linear. There is way to much back and forth. Wire compartments are cramped and difficult to work with. The blade attachment process was unnecessarily difficult. Finally, the wall switch cover/faceplate has the “Hunter” logo on the front. It looks ridiculous. If you did not see in the description, the wall switch requires batteries as well, so that will be fun to change in the dark. If you are looking only for appearance, this fan is great. The installation and maintenance are cumbersome.

Disappointment
Bought this fan to update existing installed Hunter fans with wall unit controls and associated wiring. It turns out that the wall control with this fan is just a remote placed in the wall and would not take advantage of the wiring of the existing fans. Would not have bought the Hepburn model if I knew the controls were not consistent with our existing wiring. Only chose the Hepburn fan for the wall control. Returned the Hepburn fan and will keep looking for one we really like.

Fan looks nice, good clean styling. Quiet. Only three speeds and the high speed is very high and medium is a big step down in rpms. Fan can't be reversed without removing the light cover. 5 speeds and remote reversing would make this one 5 stars.

Controls
Why can’t modern fans use a switch and pull chain. The complicated controls drive me insane. If you have a historic home and don’t want a panel of buttons on your wall, I would buy another model. We swapped for the viola

unfortunately it’s not a good fan. we have 8 fans in the house. this one is terrible. we are trying to find a place for it so it doesn’t have to be used a lot.

It's very beautiful, and when it is working, it is great. But I don't understand why the switch wasn't hardwired in. It's basically a remote with batteries that you mount on your wall, so there's a delay when you press the buttons (but the main power is hardwired - what the heck). Also, when you dim the light it cuts in and out (a LOT) at times. I wish the connection quality was just a little better.

Missing parts
I expected the ceiling fan to arrive with the angle unit in the box. Also thought an extension rod would be part of this purchase. I have no idea how I like the fan itself. Without the angle mount and rod we were not able to have our electrician install the unit. I suggest you send fewer surveys. Just ask customers if they are ready to rate the product. Peter

Faulty
I owned this same fan in one room so purchased a second one. However, I am incredibly displeased with the second purchase. The light flickers all the time, the buttons on the wall mount do not work independently and the worst part of it all is that randomly the light will turn on! This is in my baby's nursery so to have a light turn on in the middle of the night is absolutely unacceptable.

Gorges
Plenty of extra wire, but the wiring is somewhat complicated, the directions are thorough though. There isn’t a ton of extra room for wiring and the receiver in the top and control panel was also a tight fit, although the switch box in my house is probably a little smaller than what is standard nowadays. Very beautiful, quiet fan. The light isn’t burn your corneas bright, but I’m okay with that, I’m certain you could put a brighter bulb in it.

Great investment
Crisp clean design and we love the wall panel control. We have 8 foot ceilings and they would be too low if we had people in the family over 6’ or so. Light is bright, fan is quiet. Worth the price and will be back for matching light fixtures.

Nice modern style fan. Installation is a little more difficult than other fans I have done due to the way the blades install and the wired-in wall-mounted remote control. Support when I lost a screw was very responsive in getting a replacement out.

Rhythmic hum. The wall switch is not intuitive. Need to turn on the light to find out how to turn on the light or run the fan.

Installation instructions are very clear. This Fan has a hardwired wall controller only, which works very well - there is no remote handheld controller.
