Primary Kids Stretch Chino Drawstring Pant in Light Khaki Size 8

This is our second pair of these pants, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the drawstring is no longer a faux one and functional! That was my only issue with the first pair which may have been because it was a smaller size? Idk My son has eczema and we bought another pair of khaki pants when he grew out out of his old pair. He started to say he didn’t want to wear them because they were “rough“ of which he never complained about with his previous pair of these. So alas, this is my second purchase and they are the perfect weight even for summer!

Way too thin which was a bummer because we love the shorts that are similar in color and design. They felt like something from a fast fashion company and not from primary. Hope they can adjust the material in the future. Would also love to see these in joggers.

These are the ONLY pants my son will wear to school in winter! He needs to wear navy chinos as part of his school uniform. These fit him well and he likes how comfy they are. He likes that they have a little stretch in them and especially likes the soft lining on chilly winter days on the playground. I hope these will continue to be offered!

I purchased 4 different styles of pants for my son, all in a size 8, and these are the only ones that are too big in the waist. Other than that, great pants, and no complaints of itchy or stiff (we just cinched up the drawstring and wore them anyway!)

The red was a cute - not too bright - color for my son! I sized up and they don't fit yet but should soon. They seem to run a bit large because other closed we sized up in did fit.

My kid loves a Primary Jogger for its softness and comfort but when we found these chinos he decided these are his pants of choice! He loves them so much I had to buy more pairs since he wore out the knees! We need knee reinforcements!

Perfect uniform pants for a younger kid. Look formal but are easy to pull on and comfortable to run around in

The fit doesn't work for my kid. He is a slender 6yr old 40% height. I first got the 6, they were way too big. I ordered 5 and still too big. The pant leg length could have worked but the waist was too big. If I tie them so they stay up, it's too hard to for him to pull down for the bathroom. Unfortunately I washed the 5 thinking maybe they would shrink enough to work so I can't return.

Amazing!! Our child is allowed to utilize these as a part of his school uniform. He was so excited when he saw his package arrive. Unfortunately, he has maxed out the sizes offered by Primary and this will be his last turn with these.

This is a review for all of my Primary purchases:) Absolutely love this brand- well made clothing , in great /classic cuts & fabrics. They hold up to vigorous play. I also love that the clothing is mostly free offlabels & designs- it's what my kids prefer. Never stop doing what you're doing Primary- we are customers for life;) I wish there was a rewards program;)

These are about 3-4" longer than the leggings I buy of the same size. Waste fit is pretty spot on, which is normal for Primary, so I doubt I could just buy a smaller size. Super disappointing since she loves the way they feel. Not sure if I'll be rolling them for her or cutting them and going for a rustic look but she can't wear them as is.

My son likes these drawstring pants. Easy to maneuver and lightweight for school.

My 8 year old twins just finished their first day at a school that requires uniforms. They both were wearing the stretch chino drawstring pants and said they were so comfortable they didn't want to take them off! And they're good looking pants. Win!!

These look great and are soft and comfortable.

Super soft and washes well! The sizing was on the larger side, which is great for a kiddo who likes a looser fit, but we did have to pull the drawstring as tight as it would go and roll up the bottoms. Kiddo wears a size 8 in all other fits from primary but we probably could have sized down for these.

These are the best pants. Super comfortable and stretchy and they're not sweatpants. My son loves them!

These pants fit my very slim and tall son great! He's 11.5 and I bought a 12. It's nearly impossible to find pants that fit his waist and length so I'm glad these exist! The waist has a drawstring so they would fit a more average size child as well

Soft breathable cotton. The waist is a tad large but the drawstring makes it wearable.
