Hunter Fans 44" Dempsey Lighted Ceiling Fan Fresh White Finish with Integrated LED and Handheld Control

We have a "90%" LED lighted home, and a significant number of those lights are either Philips Hue or LIFX full color bulbs. When we bought the previous fan in this room, almost all ceiling fans had Edison sockets, which we eventually filled with full-color controllable bulbs. But when we went shopping for a replacement fan, we found most light kits are either monochrome or "CCT", which only controls how yellow or "blue" (think, daylight) the light is. After much searching, we found the Hunter Dempsey, which has two E26 (think "ordinary light bulb") sockets, which we have filled with full-color app-controllable bulbs. The fan is working well and is well-balanced. It seemed a little odd that the "controller" (the electorincs box) is just sitting loose in part of the upper housing, but it didn't cause any real problem. Like other fans we've bought over the years, there is a temporary hanger for use during installation, and while the space is pretty tight when working with a low-profile fan, we were able to get everything running on the first try.

This product is the perfect size for a bedroom or other smaller room.

I just bought and installed this fan today and am very disappointed in the light. As many have mentioned, it s extremely dim. Even worse, there is a very long delay (~3 seconds) from the time I turn on the wall switch before the light actually comes one. I can’t believe Hunter is okay with this quality of product!!

Love the looks and simplicity of the light/fan. However with the highest wattage in light, it is still very dim.

“Globe” looks nice in pic but it’s cheap ugly plastic. The blades are ugly too

Love the fans (2) but didn’t know that if they are on the same circuit you will have to do extra work to sync remotes.

Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. The fan is significantly more powerful than my previous 52 inch ceiling fan. I like the softness and look of the light. It hugs the ceiling exactly as shown in the advertising. However, a few caveats. The fan motor is definitely not whisper quiet. It isn't loud, however, I was expecting near silent. The remote receiver adds a few seconds of delay to the light switch and now I have to rely on the remote for the fan to turn on at all. Despite the few criticisms I have, I am really happy about this fan!

Remote doesn’t work and fan is noisy. Light dimmer doesn’t work and can’t adjust speed. Noisy as well.

Installed in a bedroom with a wall switch, as I'm sure most installations are. Fan is solid and doesn't wobble even on high setting. Remote is simple in design and works fine. But when I flip the wall switch it takes a full 3 seconds for the LED lights to turn on. I've experienced delay with other LED lights, more like a millisecond and just a perceptible delay, but not 3 seconds! Tried with different style bulbs and same delay, so it's not even the LED. Expected a lot more from Hunter and for the price I paid. I will be returning.

Looks good. Fans are both quiet. I bought 2. One 44" and one 52". The lights on the 52" flicker when I first had it on, hasn't happened since, hopefully it stays that way. The lights on both take a few seconds to turn on if you flip the switch off, which is annoying.

The remote doesn't work properly, the light couldn't be dimmed and the fan would not work.

Fan was easy to install. Light is plenty bright for room. White fixture blends well with white ceiling. Creates adequate air flow at various fan speeds. Quiet operation. Only thing unexpectedly missing was wall fixture for remote storage. Had to purchase separately from another supplier.

This is a nice looking fan and good for a small bedroom. Fan is quiet. My only complaint is that the sensor for the remote control doesn’t seem to work great when trying to turn the light off and on. You kind of need to be directly under the fan for it to work. I don’t have the remote control mounted, so it’s not that big of a deal, but is annoying.

I bought two of these for two small bedrooms on my second floor where it's always hot. They really seem to be doing the job. Along with keeping the blinds closed when I'm not in the room, the temperature in those rooms is better and it feels cooler.

We love our new fan works and looks great. Better than expected.

Quiet. Perfect for smaller bedroom- great size & power. Remote is handy. Easy to install.
