I really wanted to like this one!
Unfortunately, it doesn’t live up to the promise. 1) solar charging is pretty much worthless in cold winter (when you’ll use it) 2) even when plugged in the lights are very dim 3) (this is the biggest failing for me) I had to use remote to turn on every night 4) does not consistently respond to remote inputs. Really wanted this work. Reputable name brand, well featured, potential solar powered would allow use far from outlets, solid looking construction, not made in China.

Pretty light show with multiple light options!
So far, the product works as it should! Initial charging does take a couple of hours. Recharging totally depends on how much sunlight there is. Winter months makes for shorter daylight so it may not recharge as much. A charging cord comes with the product, but if you’re in a region where the ground freezes, you may not want/be able to remove the unit from the ground …. In which you will have to charge unit with an extension cord, if not relying on the sunlight.

Never received. They charged my card. When I tried to contact about shopping because it hadn’t been shipped when it said it was to be delivered. They then ‘shipped’ it. Then they kept pushing days out. The tracking was misleading. Never received the product. Bummed I ordered this off of Target.

Issues Right Out of the Box
I bought the Bell & Howell Startastic Solar Laser Projector and followed every step to get it working. I charged it with the USB cable for over 24 hours, put fresh batteries in the remote, and even tested it in complete darkness as suggested. The remote still doesn’t turn it on at all. The only way it lights up is by pressing the red button on the bottom, and it shuts off after a second every time. Really disappointed because I was hoping to use this for holiday decorations, but it just doesn’t stay on.
