A simple no-nonsense tough watch

Awesome watch and highly recommended. This Ironman model T5E901 is a workhorse. It’s a classic model and I believe it’s been in production since 2011. Lightweight, low profile, easy to read display, accurate quartz movement, tough/durable, good shock resistance.

Unisex

Fully aware this says “Men’s” but I looved this timeless digital watch for work. Being a woman, I have smaller wrists and this fits perfectly! I’m able to secure the watch nicely and the features of the watch are great. Took some YouTube videos for me to understand how to set up the dates and times but this has yet to fail me after 2 years. The light up button is great as well. Have yet to use the alarm function but well worth the price.

Durable

My last Ironman watch lasted me almost 10 years and I only had to change the batteries once! The only reason I had to get a new one is because I recently lost it while on a family trip. Love that these stand to the wear and tear of daily life, travel, and the gym! The indiglo and waterproof is a plus.

Great functional watch

The functionality of this watch is pretty good. Does exactly what I need. It has a good timer. Haven't worked the splits yet. But really looking forward to using it when I'm doing split training.

New and improved!

I bought this as a replacement for an old model--very similar, but improved in readability in low/no light. I hope I can get a replacement watch BAND to extend this watch's life.

Best Watch Ever

I have had this watch for a number of years, I travel a lot so love the indiglo especially on longhaul flights when they turn the lights out on board the plane. 3 time zones is brilliant when I travel as you can quickly check the regional times you use the most, 3 alarms - hopefully the 3rd one makes me get out of bed - or useful for reminders, talking of which their is an occasion function to remind you of birthdays etc. Add in the timer function which I use for training, the stopwatch with lap/split times. Battery life has been exceptional. I love this watch, been snorkeling with it, board room meetings with it (just about slips under any normal shirt sleeve), play tennis with it, running etc. Looks like new even after all the beating I give it. Downside - not much, I would possible change the strap design and I think some of the logo / design points are a bit childlike. Out of all the watches I own this is my first choice, rarely wear any other watch now. I think Timex could make more of this watch and steal more market from G Shock. If Timex want more feedback contact me anytime.

Great deal!

Had it about three weeks. So far so good. Went bike riding in pouring rain, no issues. Work out and sweat a lot. No issues. Just wish it had a option to replace the strap, but for $35.99, I can buy a new watch when this one wears out.

I really like the look of my watch

I really like the look of this watch with the stainless steel latching bracelet. That lok used to be the norm but now it's very hard to get it. Like the functions and ease of use and price point.

Love the Watch, so-so on the band

I purchased the watch so as I could keep up with my lap times when walking. It does that fine and is easy to read even though my eyes are old. However, the watch band does not get as small as I would like. I purchased a woman's watch (T5E9019J) after I was told that the watch band on women's watches would be smaller than the men's watch. What I found out is that, at least for the IRONMAN watch, that does not seem to comply with what I was told. My wrist is very small and at present, I am at the last notch in the band and it is still a little loose. So as stated, I like the watch but the band is still a little loose.

Most Versatile Watch in the World

This is the second Ironman watch that I have had. It is light, the buttons are easy to operate, the display easy to read. It is very tough and the watch face is recessed so that it never gets scratched. The battery will last for 5 plus years with daily use of indiglo, timer, stopwatch, etc. Looks tough, waterproof. What more can I say. The only reason I got the second one was that part of the band broke and it was easier to just get a new watch than to find another band. I guess if there is any downside it is that you can't use aftermarket bands, but the one that comes with it is plenty comfortable. If I was going to war, this is the watch I would take.

Excellent for Underwater Use

I teach swimming and in 3-4 years it has never failed to tell accurate time. I even use it for beginners who don't hold their breath long enough, to look at the seconds count underwater. Problem: the watch strap. I can't find a replacement as the one shown in the photo. Googled Ironman straps don't show straps with the swept back feature where the strap attaches to the watch. Please help.

Great watch!

This is a very durable watch. The band gives up before the watch does (only problem with this item) One watch lasts me about a year so when they are on sale I purchase more than one. Easy to set, use and view.

Great watch, great price

I bought this to replace my previous Timex Ironman watch where the set/recall button quit working after a battery replacement. The old watch was at least 5-7 years old. I got basically the same watch. Bought online and saved about $15, picked it up in store.
