Artscape 24" x 36" Etched Lace Window Film : Vinyl with UV Protection, Multicolor Pattern

A: Yes it is easily removable! We just got new windows and I removed it and reapplied it to the new window with no problem. It peels right off and doesn't leave any marks. I am very happy with this product.

A: Artscape Window Film is non-adhesive and can be pulled off without difficulty. There may be some residue underneath. This is from the water that was sprayed on during installation, and will wipe off with some glass cleaner.

A: Our window film comes with instructions, and you can get a pdf on our website as well. Here's a quick summary of what to do: Take the necessary measurements for the glass, and cut the film accordingly. A straight edge and razor work best. Leave a 1/16" gap between the edge of the glass and the film. Remove the paper backing, and clean the glass. (Do not get the paper backing wet. This will make it much harder to remove. If any of the paper backing gets wet and sticks to the film, let it soak in warm water for about an hour, and use a sponge to remove it.) Spray the window with water from a spray bottle and apply the film. Put the side that had the paper backing against the glass. A few drops of dish soap in the spray bottle will help you adjust the film as needed. If you need to, you can remove the film, spray the glass again and reapply. Squeegee out all the water and air bubbles between the film and glass. To keep the film from being pulled while doing so, spray the film again with the soapy water. Wait about 24 hours after applying the film. If you noticed you missed some air bubbles or wish to readjust the film, you can remove it and reapply.

A: You use a squeegee that comes with it.  It was very easy to apply and looks great!

A: Yes. We recommend using a straight edge with an exacto knife or razor to make the cuts. Mark the measurements in pen on the paper backing, then make the the incisions. Use the straight edge to ensure you have as straight an incision as possible. Put pressure on the paper to make sure it doesn't move while making the cut. (A second person is helpful with this part.)

A: Yes this can be cut.

A: It will stay on any clean, flat smooth surface but it needs to back lit to look good and on a mirror you will get double vision and will appear dark. Your best bet would be to try the pattern "Etched Glass" if you are trying to break up the mirrored surface.

A: Yes. When on the window, the film dimensions are 24 inches horizontally and 36 inches vertically.

A: Yes. Artscape window film is not affected by water, and will go on any untextured glass or plexi surface in the bathroom or shower.

A: While our window film obscures the view on either side, there will always be some transparency. Objects on the darker side will be more difficult to see. Light and objects within a few inches of the glass will be distorted but visible from the other side.

A: The amount of pieces needed will depend on the size of the area that needs to be covered. Most film comes in the dimensions 24" x 36" and will need more than 2 pieces tiled together to cover an entire glass door.
