You would think with how this cover feels it wouldn’t work as it’s supposed to. But it works perfectly and I’ve had no issues at all. I love that it’s not plastic-y feeling like other covers, it’s really comfortable. My toddler has had a handful of accidents on her bed but thanks to this mattress protector no wetness has ever gotten to the mattress. Definitely worth the money!

Baby hasn’t tried out yet but feel better knowing this cover will be safe for him. Cover was a nice material, fits tightly to the mattress and there were no odors when opened.

This is the best organic mattress pad available on a mass scale. It is good quality and made with safe materials, except I don't love the polyurethane membrane the use between the organic cotton layers. It's safer than polyurethane foams for certain but if they used something natural, like wool, it would make the entire product superior in my opinion. Wool has drawbacks as well in terms of ease of care so I understand the trade offs. It's also quite expensive, given the materials - we'll see how this holds up over time.

Makes me comfortable knowing my baby is sleeping on a clean mattress cover.

After looking everywhere for a non-toxic option, came across this one and based on the description both here & on their website, it seemed a pretty good option. The cost would have been worth it. But I just received it and on the package it states it contains polyurethane for waterproofing. I had specifically chosen this pad because it indicated it used thick flannel to absorb anything, instead of chemicals to repel. It doesn't have a chemical smell, but I still don't like that it was advertised as just containing cotton. Just wanted others to be aware.

I've been a nut about organic/nontoxic sleeping surfaces (etc.) for baby. We received a mattress from a friend, so we didn't splurge on a super-mattress as planned. Instead, we loaded up on organic sheets and this amazing cover. It is so thick! We are very pleased with the material and workmanship. The company makes other great products and I couldn't be happier that they are on the market.This was the best thing we could have possibly purchased besides springing for an organic mattress.

We bought an organic soy foam mattress for our baby and naturally, wanted an equally safe, non-chemical, mattress protector. After all, what's the point in buying an expensive mattress if you top it with a plastic cover that reeks of chemicals, only to have their noses pressed into it for more hours than they're awake during the day? We have two of these, which is nice because they take a good amount of time to dry even after being in the dryer. It looks HUGE when you first open the package but after one or two washings, it does shrink down to fit the mattress nicely. Anytime my child has spit up and it's gone through the fitted sheet, it barely dampened the cover and certainly didn't make it through the mattress. I can't give a recommendation when it comes to bedwetting though, since we, luckily, haven't experienced that yet. Overall, bought one and then bought a second months later, so definitely recommend!

This is a great mattress protector! Thick, great quality, organic, what more could you want? It says it shrinks to fit after you wash it, but I found it was still a tad bit loose. I washed and dried it again and it seems to fit better. I love it, it goes well with our Naturepedic mattress, and I can't wait for our baby to come and enjoy it as well!

A great cover! I'm quite impressed with the quality. It's a little large for a standard crib mattress, but it folds over easily and fits under a sheet just fine, with no wrinkles or bubbles. I'm quite happy with this purchase!It's made in the USA, which is a great thing. :)

Our baby isn't here yet, so I don't know how protective it is just yet. However, it did fit our matters well and did not have any chemical smell

We purchased this Naturepedic Organic Cotton Mattress Protector for our Naturepedic Mattress and are very happy with it. I have read some reviews that said it shrunk in the dryer, but you have to use very low heat and it takes 2 hours to dry plus some air drying. Ours didn't shrink and fit perfectly on the mattress. We are excited for our little one to arrive and sleep on this and we feel good knowing there are no chemicals in this cover unlike other options on the market.

We purchased this for our new granddaughter. It fit the mattress well and seems to be made really well. We were definitely happy with the product and felt the description was accurate.

This product was delivered in a very timely manner even though there were supposed shipping problems. I was notified that there would be a delay and then the mattress protector was here a couple of days later. It is very thick and sturdy and is made from quality materials. I like the fact that it is organic - only the best for baby. The only thing I do not suggest is washing it with anything else the first time you do wash. I washed it with my daughter's chocolate brown crib sheets and there was lint from the protector on the sheets after drying. Just wash it by itself a couple times and you'll be good to go! The mattress protector holds up great in the washing machine as well. I would highly recommend this product!

[...] I do find that it is a wee bit bigger than other mattress protectors. I have washed it many times (according to directions) and it's not super snug on the mattress, however, it is not loose enough that it's dangerous. It definitely does its job... it protects the mattress. I paid a lot of money for their mattress so having something that would protect it was important to me, along with the health and safety of them!

While it fits a little large straight out of the package, the mattress cover shrinks enough when washed as directed before using to fit the Naturepedic mattress perfectly. There is absolutely no smell even right out of the packaging. Since we invested in the Naturepedic organic dual firmness mattress, it didn't make sense to buy a different brand's organic waterproof mattress cover- when they are not held to the same high standards. I highly recommend the cover- just don't know how effective the waterproof quality is since baby has not wet the crib yet.

I love that it is organic and made in the US. It is soft and feels like it will handle spills just fine. It fits over the organic mattress we bought well. It doesn't have any funny smells.

This product is so soft, I love it! As other reviews said you do have to wash it before you put it on the mattress as it does shrink to fit. It was way too big when I first tried at and I would have returned it had I not had the advice of other reviews so a big thank you to all!
