Description
Just because something is nutritious doesn’t mean it shouldn’t also be delicious. Oroweat Whole Grains Bread’s recipes blend different grains, seeds, and/or nuts to deliver on both. Our Oatnut Bread is bursting with flavor and nutrients in every freshly baked slice. Toast a slice and top with banana and a drizzle of honey for a quick and easy breakfast. Build a turkey and avocado club with fresh veggies for a restaurant-style sandwich at home. You can feel good about making simple and delicious choices with our bread whether you prefer it toasted or as a soft slice straight from the bag.
It all started back in 1932, when Hermann and Betty Dreyer opened a small retail shop in Los Angeles that was half bakery, half grocery store—and full-on delightful. Back then, you couldn’t find the premium bread that we love today. By starting small, the couple was able to give each brick-oven-baked loaf the attention it deserved. Today, though Hermann and Betty no longer make it themselves, Oroweat is still committed to bringing you bread you can believe in—so you can live your life and love your loaf.

Decent bread
This bread used to be great and is too bland. It used to have a nutty flavor. Still great for Pb&Jelly sandwiches.

Too bad...
They changed this and other oroweat breads. Used to be great—now not worth buying—bland, doughy, textureless.

Back in my day
One day we will all sit around the dinner table and talk about the old oat nut bread from back in the day, it was made different back then, the oats were nutty and the bread slices were made right… now a days they make it like cardboard….

Not good
It's rather tasteless. It grew multiple fuzzy spots three days after I bought it.

Good buy
Has a great taste, I only wish the slices were a little thicker so they weren’t so flimsy. 8/10.

Tasty!
Oroweat is our go to. The kids and I get the potatoe and my husband gets the oat because it’s healthier. It’s larger than other loads of bread which makes it a great value.

Great and healthy
I've been buying this bread for so long now and oroweat is the only brand of bread I buy. Oroweat breads are not only healthy but it takes a long time to go bad right after the expiration date.
