  • A: Hi Sam. Thanks for your interest in our Vlasic pickles. The vast majority of our fresh cucumbers and peppers are sourced from America. At times they’re sourced from Canada and Mexico so we can obtain special small sizes that are not harvested in the USA. Our smaller cucumbers are sourced from India due to harvesting complexities. Q: I was considering buying this until I sawsucralose on ingrediants, not a natural or healthy sweeterner. Why is this in a non sugar free item? I would love to see a more naturally sweetened pickle.

    Limp Sweet Gherkins

    Vlasic Sweet Gherkins used to be snappy and delicious, but for the past 5 years, the sweet gherkins have gone limp. The pickles are bendable without the classic Vlasic crunchy snap: there is only mushy softness. The flavor is okay, but also not what it used to be. About once a year I buy a jar to check if the crunch is back and unfortunately I continue to be disappointed. Vlasic, please revert to your classic sweet gherkins recipe and cooking/packing process and let us know by putting "Classic Recipe" on the front label.

    Less Crispy

    The last 4 bottles I bought were way less crispy. The pickles were larger and soft. Ended up throwing many away.

    Best crunch with the best taste!

    These are the most crisp and tangy yet pickles ever. I know with this brand I will never get a non crisp pickle. The crunch is the best sound ever! We choose this brand every time. This stays on my list of groceries.

    Artificial sweetener taste and squishy pickles.

    The artificial sweetener taste is awful. Taste like you bought sugar free sweet pickles when you bought regular sweet pickles. Its gross. Plus half the time I get squishy pickles right on top. No more vlasic pickles in this house.

    Sweet gherkin make a larger jar

    I buy two jars of these every two weeks and I eat them straight out of the jar I wish they would sell it in larger jars cuz the small ones go too fast and cost too much. delicious. I'm hooked on them

    These pickles are the best pickles of all. I used to be a fan of dills but this pickle changed my life. I eat them everyday and every night. If they ever stop making these pickle I will have to end it. They taste like a cloud on a baby’s bum.

    Soggy, not crunchy

    The last few times I have purchased Sweet Gherkins with the "Big Crunch" according to the label there hadms been no crunch at all. The pickles were limp & soggy. I will not be buying these pickles again.

    Shrinkflation

    I love these pickles, but the last couple of jars have not been filled all the way. They used to be packed tight and now they are just loosely packed, obviously less pickles more money.

    AWFUL sweet gherkins - nasty after-taste!

    AWFUL! They have artificial sweetener (Sucralose) and you can taste the nasty bitter after-taste! Disgusting! These used to be my favorites, now just don’t bother! EWWW! Why would you ruin SWEET pickles by removing the sugar? They’re supposed to be sweet!

    I want to give this a ZERO instead of one. Not sure when we decided to use an ARTIFICIAL sweetener which tastes horrible, but I will never buy these again. This *USED* to be my all-time favorite pickle. I have no idea why you would mess with SWEET pickles. If someone doesn’t want sugar, they always have dill options. SERIOUSLY? Ruined a favorite. NEVER buying VLASIC again!
