oh, what an adventure this was... let me regale you with my great tale! i finally got my long awaited french onion dip and ruffles chips - i had been craving it for weeks. i tried to open the jar, with no success. surely, it's just be because i am frail. but, no fear! my friend micah is near! SURELY, micah will prevail with all the rock climbing they do... but ALAS! no success! i call on my friends: "i need a big strong man to open my jar!" meg arrives, sure it will be an easy feat, for she works in the woodshop and has big muscles... AND YET! no luck! the forbidden french onion dip remains untasted! next, is sofia - she tries more creative solutions, rather than brute force... a towel, some hot water, a towel again, a spoon, but nothing works. finally, THE RUBBER GLOVE! after another brief struggle, beneath the glove we hear a satisfying POP! we rejoice!! the jar lid is free at last! i am yet to taste the long sought out, glorious dip, but i shall award one star for every art student it took to open the jar as it provided MUCH entertainment...

I tried it because shelf stable is awesome but I threw most of it away as just gross.

Shipping box came completely damaged and bags to chips inside were broken etc. and this bottle’s vacuum seal was not completely sealed or bottle was opened or compromised during transit. I had to throw this bottle out. Target, you trying to poison us?

This is supposed to be a bigger jar of the smaller blue pop-up tin product however taste nothing like it.

Good product I like to order it when I can get it on sale it is a little pricey when not on sale. This is one thing I can't get if it is not on sale as with other things needed before things like this.

Bought it today. Expires April 2026. I cooked a whole meal and then went to grab the lid, only to notice mold. Had to throw away the entire dinner and order pizza. I usually don’t order this brand and won’t again. It cost me over a pound of chicken and multiple ingredients.

Good taste, but it's so hard to open it shouldn't be so hard to open makes me not wanna buy it anymore.

I wish I would have read the reviews first! Not thick and creamy, and not much onion flavor. Similar to dipping into a can of cream and mushroom soup.

Barely any onion flavor. Tastes like a flavorless plain dip. Purchased b/c my go-to's weren't available (Heluva & Dean's). To the trash it went.

I enjoyed it …..only had Deans French Onion dip before. They were out of stock on Deans so I tried this. It will do in a pinch. It’s twice the price of Deans and Deans has better fresh taste. But ok if there isn’t anything else available and we needed to bring to a party. I should of made fresh with sour cream, fresh grated onion 🧅 and garlic 🧄 & seasoning 🧂 but didn’t have the time or refrigeration to keep until getting to the party 🎉. When resealed and refrigerated it gets all watery at the bottom 🥹

Ur dips no longer taste good u must have changed the recipe they taste terrible anymore

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dip is so bland anymore. There really is no flavor. I used to love it, but they clearly skimp on flavor now. Cutting corners just like everyone else these days.

They hanged this dip since the 90s. Mine wasn't rotten or anything luckily, but it just wasn't good. tasteless, when it used to have a distinct flavor from their ranch.
