  • A: Just in case anyone else has that same question. The box lists "every age, every stage, every day" so it would seem anyone could use. These bars were recommended to me by my sons pediatrician when he was just a few months old due to eczema looking dry skin. He is two years old now and I still use this soap for him exclusively; If not for the cost, I would use this myself because it smells SO good and makes skin so soft.

    It’s a must have in your routine!

    This is my everyday go when I wash my face. I have a bar in my shower and a bar on my sink. It helps with any type of makeup or sweat buildup. Then I always follow with a cleansing gel from cetaphil.

    Scent Too Strong For Me

    The bar lathers great, but I can't stand the overpowering scent. I was looking for a gentle bar for the shower since I gave up on my usual Lever 2000 when they changed the scent on that brand. The smell of the Cetaphil was so strong I took a second shower with another soap and I still could smell the Cetaphil on my skin. I expected this bar to be unscented. Thankfully I only bought a 3-pack which I had to trash...a $10 lesson in not checking reviews first.

    Need a fragrance-free option

    I've been using the cream cleanser for over 20 years and it's perfect. I switched to this bar soap in an effort to reduce plastic usage and because I prefer the aesthetic of bar soap in my bathroom. This soap is heavily scented, therefore I will be getting rid of it and looking for an alternative. I did not check the package before purchasing because I assumed it was fragrance free, which has always been my standard expectation of Cetaphil products marketed for sensitive skin. I assumed there would be a fragrance free version I could purchase, but that doesn't exist currently. Therefore, I will be switching brands.

    New favorite soap, very gentle yet effectively cleans without heavy fragrances. After just one use, my skin felt clean without feeling dry.     Works well with combination skin as well

    Keeps my skin feeling smooth and clean. I have combination skin so I wasn’t sure if it was necessary for me to use a gentle cleanser. I noticed that it worked really well for washing off makeup and doesn’t take up much counter space! It’s especially cute on a little soap tray!

    I love this bar, super sensitive and it’s super good for the skin. It’s very moisturizing and it doesn’t dry your skin out like other body soaps tend to do this especially good if you have sensitive skin or have any skin complications I’ve used this brand for almost 7 years now and I keep purchasing every item that I have because it’s so good

    not a gentle facial bar

    This isn't a gentle facial bar. It smells strongly of soap, burns eyes, and lathers heavily - all characteristics of soap. I recommend getting genuine soy-based Japanese facial bar from the iHerb website. it's 100% better and an actual facial bar. I'm surprised that Cetaphil would mislead people like this.
