I have exclusively bought these socks for everyday wear since I was a teenager, and I never have even thought of switching to another brand. Usually once or twice a year, I’ll throw out all the ones with holes in them and get a new pack. I think this is reasonable since I walk 4-6 miles a day; losing a few pairs a year doesn’t seem excessive. …until this pack. When I started wearing the new ones, almost every single sock had holes in it after the FIRST wear!!! Socks in the past have only shown holes after several months of heavy wear. The first few I thought were flukes, but almost the entire pack was full of holes after wearing one time! Then I got angry that I had thrown out old socks with just small holes when I could have kept them longer and let them wear out more. My new ones looked worse after one wear than the slightly-damaged ones looked after six months to a year! Now I just keep wearing the same hole-filled socks, but have to regularly throw them out when my big toe goes all the way through. I have never even considered switching brands, but now it makes me sad that I’ll have to. I gave two stars because the product used to be good, and I hope it can be again.

I have been wearing these socks for years because they were relatively comfortable. I tried to buy some recently and was saddened to see that YOU SHRUNK the socks. I bought extended size even though I have small feet, thinking that would help. These things might fit a toddler, but not a grown human. The quality of the fabric has also gone downhill. They are shiny and scratchy. I do not think the cotton content you listed is true, they feel like recycled polyester made from old plastic containers.

I tried to buy more socks like I have been wearing for years. I was sad to see that Hanes changed them. They are so small they look like a toddler could wear them (and they called these extended size!) They are also rough and shiney, like plastic. The photo shows Hanes socks I am currently wearing for size comparison. I will be returning these. They are so uncomfortable.

I appreciate that they are for larger size feet like mine. I like the height on these. Not no show but I little higher so they are more comfortable than no shows with sneakers. With the no shows, I find that the tongue of sneaker jabs my ankle. None of that with these socks.

I did not receive these. I was missing several items in this order.

I bought these to replace a set from over a year ago. The new version is smaller and scratchier than the “identical” previous purchase. Disappointing.

I love the way these socks look and feel but they are just too small.

I got these because they are cotton and are extra thick on only the bottom. It has helped a lot with stinky feet. The socks come up to a good height, and neither slip down into my shoes nor come up so high that it looks funny. They aren't too tight for a shoe size 7.5-8. They are not good quality but it is decent for the price. They are not soft, but are not scratchy either.

I’ve bought this pack of socks three times because I have to keep replacing them because they easily get holes in the heels. I chose these because they were the cheaper option but I guess you get what you paid for. I’ll be buying a different brand from now on, I’m tired of replacing these.

Hanes have been the only socks I have bought since I was a child. I loveeee the quality! They are thick and soft and rarely ever get holes in them. Love Hanes!

Love these socks in black. They last a long time and fit great for a 9.5 size foot.

Great cotton blend that stretches but keeps its shape.

I like the thickness of the socks, I just was hoping for a more softer material. These will turn into my winter socks for every day use.
