Q: Does this disinfectant kill germs for COVID-19? If so, is this registered on the EPA list of approved disinfectants used against COVID-19?

A: I could not find an EPA registration number for this anywhere, and therefore cannot cross reference with the EPA list that details which cleaners break down COVID-19. I would err on the side of no until an EPA number is provided and can be referenced on that list.
submitted byJane - 5 years agoA: No it will not kill COVID-19. If it did, the manufacturer would have clearly said so in their prior response, rather than telling you to call and have a private conversation offline.
submitted byAnonymous - 5 years agoA: It contains citric acid, which is considered a disinfectant on the EPA list. It's not on the EPA list itself, but it is on the "New York State Registered Disinfectants Based on EPA List" (on the NY gov't website). I assume the percentage of citric acid is the question. The lowest percentage I saw on the EPA website was 6%, and this contains 5%.

A: great question! for general cleaning you can simply spray + wipe right away. to disinfect, spray until thoroughly wet, let sit for 10 minutes + wipe. for sanitizing non-porous surfaces, spray until wet + wipe after 5 minutes. feel free to use whatever rag, cloth or paper toweling you use in your cleaning routine.

Use this in l my bathrooms. Keeps smelling great for at least 2-3 days. It’s not heavy so it won’t leave streaks on your counters like many other brands. Method is one of the cleaner brands out there but still has a few things in it that’s not extremely great for the eco-friendly but it’s almost there with those brands. Overall good value for your money.

I love the whole Method range but this is one of my favourites. It smells so fresh and minty clean and is a long lasting scent. The packaging is easy to use with the spray. I feel this is an eco friendly option without harsh chemicals sticking in the back of your throat. This also helps with hard water limescale.

I definitely agree with other people that the smell on this product is SO overwhelming!! I immediately turned on my bathroom fan because of how strong it smelled. It seemed to clean okay. But the fact that i have to air out my whole bathroom and quickly run out is just too much.

As for the cleaning power, it’s fantastic. The formula cuts through soap scum, grime, and any stubborn stains with ease. I love that it’s antibacterial, giving me peace of mind that I’m effectively disinfecting surfaces like sinks, countertops, and toilets. The smell is disgusting. Whenever I use it, it makes me gag and regret buying it in the first place. I thought it would smell refreshing but that is not the case. It’s okay for antibacterial cleaner. I would recommend looking at other antibacterial cleaners before this one. The spray nozzle could get clogged sometimes if you don’t hold the bottle vertically.
