Q: how many uses do you think i could get out of one bottle of this essie nail polish

  • A: I have used Essie for 2+ decades and I can get way more then 4 to 5 manis from one bottle. Maybe they mean if done 4 to 5 coats on every finger and toe you'll get 4 to 5 mani/pedis, but even that seems like alot less then i get from a bottle. On a conservative side I'd say more like 10 total uses of 3 coats each digit full mani/pedis (i used to do this monthly with their sheer flesh color "high matience" for a few years, and I dont recall needing to buy new bottles excessively. )

Q: Why are the pictures not matching up with the essie nail colors? For example, "Clothing Optional" is supposed to be a rosey color but it shows up as gray. Want to make sure I'm ordering what I need.

    Color online not accurate

    If purchasing online, beware the color pictured is not accurate. Play Date is a deep lavendar, and does not have pink like in the picture, and go ginza is a pale lavendar, not light pink.

    Love Hi Maintanence

    Crisp White

    Doesn't apply smoothly

That thick, clumpy texture you described—especially when it makes a smooth finish impossible—is certainly not the high-quality experience you should have with any Essie color (looks great on your nail BTW!) The nail colors should all flow on easily and by the second coat the color should be perfect!
