    My Son Doesn't Like It

    My son doesn't like it. I've tried offering it to him on like 4 separate occasions and he hated it every time. After one bite he'd refuse any more. I know they say you have to try a food up to 20 times to give it a truly fair shot but my son is really not picky. I've given him a very wide variety of foods (both fresh and baby foods like this) and he'll eat almost anything so that's why I rate this pretty poorly.

    Unbeleivably Poor Packaging

    This is all about shipping. My order came partially filled (4 Gerber Stage 2 Turkey). The rather large box contained 4 separate glass bottles and no packing material at all. Needless to say one bottle broke and the other 3 were covered in food and glass. It was a mess. Having received the same product individually wrapped for protection, I was quite surprised.

    cornstarch, yuck

    After trying Beechnut turkey with broth I thought I would try Gerber because that's what is offered at Target. I didn't bother getting out my glasses to read the label fine print. I tasted it and it tastes like nothing, so I read the label and I am very disappointed to see: "Turkey, water, and cornstarch". Beechnut ingredients are turkey and turkey broth, and Beechnut tastes like turkey.

But, We are not a big gravy family. He wanted it but, he was not a fan of it. I even tried mixing it with rice but, he still didn't want it.

I would rather make turkey and gravy because this didn't taste great. But, it was not bad in a pinch. It also has a resealable top. That makes it more handy than some others I have gotten.
