Price increase. Again.
My daughter has one week before her 1st birthday and we’re almost done with formula. I noticed the price went up nearly $2 and I feel so sad for all the other parents having to experience this price hike.

The Perfecf Formula
This was the only formula that my daughter could tolerate. We tried so many formulas for her as she had a severally sensitive stomach. After so many trials, we finally found the one. After months, this one is still holding strong.

Ordered April 8th and when I received it, it was outdated as of April 1st. Tried to exchange both bottles at local store and they only had one on the shelf.

Only tolerable formula
Similac Alimentum specifically JUST the ready to feed version is the ONLY formula my baby could tolerate. (We tried many different formulas including Enfamil Nutramigen) Don’t love the price but you pay what you have to pay in order to have a happy & fed baby.

Prive Increase
Once again, the price on something that was already overpriced has been raised overnight. Sad day that something that is a necessity for a baby is being increased even more.

We understand your concern. We make every effort to manage our product costs so we can provide families who use our products with high quality, science-backed nutrition. Rising commodity costs have made it necessary to pass along a modest cost increase to retailers on select Similac products. -The Similac Team

Toxic - Full of Heavy Metals!
As a dedicated reviewer of child health products and an advocate for evidence-based parenting, I find it imperative to alert fellow parents and caregivers about alarming findings related to this particular baby formula. According to recent independent testing conducted by Consumer Reports, this brand ranks among the worst offenders for containing elevated levels of heavy metals—substances that are especially dangerous to infants whose bodies and brains are still developing. This should raise immediate red flags for any parent. My personal experience only intensifies these concerns. This formula was recommended by a pediatric nurse shortly after my son’s birth, as he was premature and had a mild case of jaundice. At no point was I informed that its use should have been temporary or condition-specific. It was only during a routine check-up with the lead pediatrician—four months later—that we were told to discontinue its use immediately, as the formula was never meant for prolonged feeding. What is even more distressing is that this formula has also been linked in medical literature to an increased risk of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) in premature infants—a serious and potentially fatal gastrointestinal condition. The FDA has acknowledged the growing public concern regarding toxic metals in baby food and formula. In response, they launched the “Closer to Zero” initiative, aiming to reduce arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury in baby foods to the lowest possible levels through tighter regulations and industry guidance. However, progress has been slow, and many parents remain unaware of the risks associated with widely available formulas. This experience underscores the urgent need for clearer labeling, stricter regulation, and better communication from healthcare providers. I strongly urge all parents to research thoroughly, consult trusted sources, and most importantly—advocate fiercely for your child’s safety and well-being.

EXPIRED!!
EXPIRED! Target is selling expired formula. When manufactured this formula lasts 1 year so it is absolutely unacceptable for them to be selling expired formula. Be very wary and check the date as target certainly is not. Very dangerous.

I can't believe the price!!
I was just telling he should stop consuming dairy products and remembered I had to feed him this formula which, for me, was so expensive at $7.99 a bottle. That was 18 years ago. I can't even imagine having to pay this much daily. But you do what you have to do for your child. He still has problems digesting milk, even soy and almond. He's trying oatmilk for a change.

Major price change
Target increased the price by more than 2$ a bottle , which is huge when your baby drink a full bottle a day. Very disappointed

Product works great for my little one, but target is price gouging
So I’ll start off by saying that this product actually works great for my little one. We had to switch to a hypoallergenic formula when she was around 5 1/2 months and the powder version of this formula did not work for her. This formula is much less smelly and thick compared to the powder version, which is a definite plus, and my daughter seems to enjoy drinking her bottles again. The issue that I’m having is not necessarily with this product, but with Target. We have been purchasing this product for the last few months and it was originally $11.79, which is already expensive seeing as one bottle lasts us just over a day. During my most recent trip to Target to pick up her formula for the week, I was shocked when I saw they had raised the price of this to $14.29! That’s over a 20% increase, which is ridiculous! Target should be ashamed of themselves. It often takes a family a lot of trial and error to find a formula that works for their babies, especially when they have allergies and to price gouge these formulas is awful. Unfortunately, I can’t use a different/cheaper formula, not that any formula is cheap nowadays, but it’s really disheartening to see Target doing this. This should be illegal! Do better Target!

Easy on the tummy!
My baby was struggling with gas for over a month. This was the third formula we tried. Within a day there was a big difference. After a week, it was a whole new baby! No gas pains, regular stools. It’s been amazing!
