Q: Can the bottle be put away in fridge if not finished?

  • A: Once a 2 fl oz bottle has been opened and poured into your baby’s clean bottles, both the formula in your baby’s bottles and any left in the 2 fl oz bottle should be refrigerated immediately and used within 2 days. If your baby drinks from a prepared bottle and doesn’t finish the bottle of formula within one hour, throw it away. When a baby starts drinking from a bottle, bacteria that are naturally present in your baby's mouth enter the bottle through the nipple hole. If any formula is left in the bottle after the feeding, these bacteria will grow in the leftover formula. Refrigerating the bottle and reheating it later will not stop the growth of bacteria. - The Similac Team

    If I could give this no stars I would I just purchased this today around 10AM I went to feed my PREEMIE and I thought it looked odd when I went to look at the date it expired back in February of 2026 . This is truly disappointing and so harmful to a baby. with the amount of staff that target has they should be rotating everything ! They didn't even seem remorseful when returning it . Very disappointing

    Easy on belly

    Makes night time feedings so easy. It’s easy on his belly and doesn’t cause constipation like the powder does. It’s expensive but worth it. I just wish boxes and/or bottles were bigger. I’m going thru a bottle and a half per feeding and 8 feedings a day so a box and a half.
