    Weight gain

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the formula my twins were given in the NICU, so it's what I trusted once we brought them home. Most importantly, they were able to gain the weight they needed quickly, which gave us so much peace of mind. I'm thankful we found a formula that worked so well for them.

    Helped our babies grow

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only formula I would trust for my 4lb newborn twin boys. We used this product and the powdered formula version to help our boys gain weight and after 3 months, we switched to the Pro-Total Comfort Gentle (replaced with the 360 Total Care Gentle now) to be easier on our babies’ sensitive stomachs.

    Perfect for prematures

    My daughter has grown healthy and happy. This formula helped to achieve her milestones and has been very gentle to her stomach,however mild gassy.

    Similac Neosure milk and Similac slow flow nipples

    My son was born prematurely and had to stay in the NICU. While I developed my milk supply, I supplemented multiple feedings with Similac Neosure Ready-to-feed 2oz bottles. I purchased two 48 count cases and the single use similac slow flow nipples to continue familiarity in feedings at home. He has tripled his weight and I’m happy with this brand. I am struggling to find the 2oz bottles and would love if a representative reached out and assisted with my purchase. Traveling with those individual bottles and nipples has made traveling a breeze. Multiple fit in the diaper bag and I can carry around many days worth of feedings without the need for a refrigerator.

    Works well for Preemie Growth

    My baby has been on neosure since birth. She was born at 33 weeks and is now caught up at 5 months. She does seem to have some trouble with gas and spits up a good bit. But overall I'm happy with her development.

    For my Premie

    My baby was on neosure for a short while when we came home from the hospital. We switched to 360 sensitive because neosure left him very gassy.

    Satisfied

    The NICU started my baby on this formula. I wanted to switch to a cheaper competitor, but two pediatricians advised to stick with Similac Neosure because my baby was doing so well on it and doubled his weight! He does seem to have a lot of gas, but I will live with it since we are relieved to hear that has grown so much and went from the 27 percentile to 49 percentile for his age group.

    Dont use this formula

    Don’t give this to your baby. My baby was born premature and this formula was given to her at NICU. We were sent home with the ready to feed bottles and those were good. But after that I used these cans and baby has been very fussy, vomiting, and really constipated. She even cries very loud out of nowhere and pushes a-lot. I feel so bad for her. Tomorrow I will be going to her pediatric because I cant see her in pain anymore. It’s been days since she last pooped.

    Caused major fussiness and reflux symptoms

    First, let me lead with this formula is great for rapid weight gain for a preemie. My baby gained around 9oz a week, give or take, and caught up to a relatively “normal” newborn size around 1 month on it. But now on to the ugly. In NICU, they were using the premixed liquid Neosure, which she seemed to tolerate well, and we were sent home with the powder formula with a 24 calorie formulation (5.5oz of water to 3 scoops of formula.) For the first week or so, things were pretty good, but then I noticed that she started to sound congested, but I couldn’t get anything out of her nose. Fast forward a few weeks, we’ve had increased gassiness, fussing and refusing to sleep, and some pretty evident signs of reflux, such as several episodes of nasal reflux. We give mylicon drops like they’re going out of style and suction her nose to clear it of the backup, but overall it has not been a good experience for us as NICU/preemie parents.

    Caused fussiness and constipation

    My baby was born at 34 weeks. Sent home with this formula. About a week later, he was constipated and very fussy all the time. When I switched his formula to Emfamil premie version, he was back to normal with regular bowels. I do not recommend this.
