Our son was 5 weeks early so the doctors put him on this in the NICU. He’s been on it for five months now and has done incredibly well. He’s gaining weight like a champ and is finally on the growth chart for kids his age that were born full-term. My only complaint would be the price. There’s really no generic alternative to this and it’s incredibly expensive for the amount that you get. It would be nice if they made it more affordable for people. Babies are already expensive enough without having to spend a fortune on their formula.

Amazing formula, best when paired with Mylicon

We started our 33 week old preemie on neosure while still in the NICU to supplement my breast milk. He gained 2lbs in the first month and 3lbs in the second month. The pediatrician recommended the use of mylicon by adding drops to the formula. He burps and passes gas easily and has daily bowel movements. He also sleeps very well. We are so grateful! As others have said, it is hard to find and is very expensive.

I had my daughter at 24 weeks she was born only 1lb and 10.5in and I struggled terribly with producing milk and that’s when we started her on neosure and I swear this is the best thing ever! She’s gone from 1lb to 14lb and is currently 24in at a little over a year old. It’s definitely a little expensive but it’s worth it so Thank you guys so much for all you do and for providing for our most precious miracles!

When my baby was a newbie and the digestive system was not fully developed because this formula had iron, it made the baby very colicky, put up, etc. As the baby grew older and we implemented probiotics and Myliticon we have better results but hands down the best formula for preemies.

Best Baby Food Ever for Preemie Babies

5 out of 5 stars
Brandiedarlene - 2 years ago

My daughter was born at 35 weeks and only weighed 4 lb 9 oz at birth. My milk didn't come in at all for the first three days and she was given neosure to help her gain weight and get stronger in the nicu. My breast milk supply was never great and by the time she was released from the nicu I couldn't keep up with pumping the amount she needed to eat. After 4 months I wasn't able to produce anymore breast milk. So my baby has mostly been on Neosure for her first 9 months of life. She is thriving now! They don't even factor her preemie age when doing her growth charts anymore and she is in the 48th percentile for weight, the 65th percentile for head circumference and the 94th percentile for height!!! She loves her formula and she does great with it. She has never been very gassy, she doesn't throw up or have an upset stomach. This formula really is just amazing.

This product was given to my 34 week baby girl and helped her gain weight from the start. I do give credit for her quick weight gain and able to come home after 10 days in the NICU. She loved the formula and never had any issues with the formula. She is now 7 months and she's a very healthy, happy and thriving well.

Preemie Baby

My sweet babe was born at 36 weeks gestation and spent quite a bit of time in the NICU. The doctors had her on my breast milk with Neosure mixed in it until recently, now we are just doing Neosure. My baby loves her “protein drinks” and it has helped her get onto the weight charts in her first year. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it does give her some gas but she’s finally figured out how to get rid of that.

My baby was born at 23 weeks. His weight at the time 1 pound 12 oz. he is now 9 months or 5 months corrected age and weighs 17 pounds. We have been happy with his development. Yes, he is gassy, but I was also given some gas drops and his bowel movement is slow at time but I was given some suppositories for that as well. When we left NICU he was on the ready to feed formula and was advised at high risk clinic to continue with the ready to feed option. It has been expensive but totally worth it.

Great Formula with some side effects

I agree with most of the mom's on here. My baby girl was born at 34weeks and was immediately placed on Neosure. My baby is very gassy bit it has helped her grow tremendously. I also think this formula is very expensive but it's the only formula she has been on since birth. With Covid cases consistently rising, it's hard to find and the stores run out so fast but it's so expensive you can't buy 4 or 5 quarts/cans at a time. I need coupons, vouchers, or something to help with the cost.

Had my baby at 37/38 weeks and even tho that is considered full term my baby was tiny for his game age weighting 5 pounds and 1 oz. So they put him on Neosure to make sure he gains weight which he is. But the thing is he is fussy and has had problems with constipation and he has just turned 2 months and that's bout how long he's had the issue. Plus with the gas as well. Not really sure what to do they want him to stay on it but my baby is miserable trying to pass stool and almost nothing is helping at this point.
