    New Recipe Sucks

Sooo disappointed in the new recipe. This had been my favorite gluten free pasta for years but now it just turns to mush. Will no longer be buying.

What a shock in recipe change

I buy in bulk but when i went to buy yesterday and make pasta last night I was wondering what I did wrong when cooking because it ended up being mush. It was disgusting. So I did research and found out that they changed the recipe of the pasta. WHY? Did you even do a taste testing with people before doing this? Surely no one in this world would pick the new recipe. Please change it back.

Recipe change!!! It used to be AMAZING now MUSH

The old recipe was my absolute go to pasta. I loved it and ate it pretty frequently. I just bought some a week ago and got around to eating it to notice it was just so thin, mushy, yet hard? It feels overcooked and undercooked. Just found out the recipe changed and I am completely stunned when it was pretty perfect as it was. I'm really hoping they change it back after seeing how many people are leaving negative reviews. This is really disappointing. Having good gluten free options is so important and helpful for people to make sure they stick to a gluten free diet. Really disappointing.

Why did you fix what wasn't broken?

Barilla Gluten free spaghetti used to be my go-to brand because it actually held up well and tasted good. Now it's a gooey sticky mess. Cooking it Al dente doesn't help much. The texture is just off. Please go back to what you had. There was nothing wrong with it. In the meantime I will use other brands as this is just nasty now.

New Recipe Has Ruined a Great Product

The new recipe is terrible and I'll have to switch now. Why ruin a great thing? As a celiac, it was the best product I used. I'm so sad.

    Bring the old recipe back

I was just telling my dad this morning how I love Barilla Gluten Free pasta. That was before tonight's dinner. It was a sticky gross mess. It was slimy, did not have a good flavor. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I used to love this. Tomorrow I am looking for another brand.

You guys changed the recipe and now the pasta sucks! I don't care about the number of ingredients! The pasta just is gluey and terrible now. Used to be the #1 gluten free pasta on the market…

I'm not sure if something changed with the barilla ingredients, but their GF pasta isn't as good as it used to be. I prefer store brand.

    You changed the recipe.

New, only two ingredient, recipe turns pasta water into starchy paste, noodles become a chewy, sticky mass. Had no problems until recipe was changed. Looking for a new pasta now.

    You changed the recipe.

I've been gluten free for 6 months, just this week I discovered the boxes of pasta following the new recipe of just flour. Let me set this up for you. I have been operating on an assumption of behavior from this product that has suddenly changed for the worse. Used to be just stick some butter in the water so the noodles don't stick. Now? Oh, now, the noodles stick like mad. They have a glue-like consistency that is awful if you aren't expecting it. The water I boiled them in became more of a starch paste. Overall bad experience. Congratulations, you ruined it.

Taking out all the mono and diglycerides have made the texture funny, new recipe is awful. Please change it back!

Pasta back in diet after decades

Given this GF pasta by a friend. I was shocked. I've quit trying to eat pasta for years now. I have to be GF, so I can't comment on the comparison to regular pasta. THIS pasta has put my favorite pasta dishs back in my diet. It doesn't sit like a lead rock in my stomach. It cooks up el dente very easily. Left in the water to sit, all GF falls apart. Cook and eat, you will love it!

    Good option!

This is definitely one of the better gluten free spaghetti options out there. When cooked and tossed w your favorite sauce, it does generally taste like “normal” pasta. The texture is not entirely on par with regular spaghetti but close enough if you ask me lol

    It STANK so bad!

Today was my first and last time buying gluten-free pasta, at least from this brand. I cooked it and it had my whole house smelling like hot breath and fresh poop. I had to throw it out and just purchase regular pasta I’d rather suffer with a stomach ache than have to smell that mess..
