Don't use this on shipping boxes
"Sure Start" is not as thick as the older 3M packaging tape. I used it on all sides of a 20 pound box of books in the usual way (no problems with taping like this in the past). The recipient just wrote to say the box arrived burst open with some other junk in it (not the books), with the statement, "next time use a LOT more tape." So don't rely on this !

Awful
I have used 3M tape exclusively to ship 700 packages - very happy. Bought 2 rolls of Sure Start and HATE the stuff. It may be easy to start but doesn't stick. Load up on older product and then plan to switch to another brand.
