    Formula Changed

    I’m so disappointed with this brand. It’s one of the few black owned brands Target still carries since they have started getting rid of most of them the last 2 years. This was my go to brand and it’s disappointing they’ve changed their formula to being heavily water based. My hair is shoulder length and I used half the bottle just to wash my hair. It was so watery. I can justify buying a product that is now comparable to Sauve or V05… it’s that cheap of a quality now but not for the price it should be. Shame on the owners of this company for being greasy and using significantly less product and filling half the bottles with water.

    Finally...a great product for my 4b/4c hair

    Finally...a product that works great for my 4b/4c hair. I've been on the hunt for a while for products that would work well for my texture hair without drying it out or leaving it more tangled. I came across TGIN on a whim as I strolled through the "ethnic" hair care section at target. It was hidden at the very end on the top corner. Nevertheless itried their shampoo, conditioner, honey deep conditioner and green tea leave in conditioner and my hair has never felt so moisturized. My curls were extremely defined and my looked and felt voluminous after washing. My hair typically lands towards the extra coily but fine at the same time side and this has definitely made a world of difference.

    Great for low porosity, 4b/C hair

    I live this shampoo and have used it for years. I wear ptmritective styles and wash my hair about 1x every 3-4 was. This product lathers well and makes my hair feel clean, but moisturized. I'm reading through these comments, some say the direct opposite; I guess it's about hair texture. Also, I don't think a shampoo shouldn't make hair feel super moisturized, that's what conditioner us for.

    A Decent Shampoo

    This shampoo is decent. I didn’t love it, but I did like it. It cleaned my hair decently well and while it didn’t moisturize very much, it didn’t dry my hair out either. The fruity/fresh scent of it smells good to me. I would buy it again if I couldn’t find a shampoo I liked better. It gets the job done. However, for the price I think I should love it.

    It's a NO for me

    Leaves hair greasy and dry at the same time. I have low porosity, wavy hair and this shampoo didn't benefit my hair. Feels moisturizing when you shampooing, with a lot of slip, but hair somehowcoms put dry and frizzy. Very little lather unless you use alot. Switched to Maui Moisture Lightweight Moisture formula and hair was much better.

    It does add moisture BUT It Will Not Rid Your Hair of ANY Previous Product During the Process. So, I would suggest for your scalp & hair to be free of product or bone dry...it could even work as a 2nd/3rd shampoo after a neutralizing/cleansing one has been used
