Tim Hopgood was six years old when he first heard Louis Armstrong's recording of What a Wonderful World. Years later his daughter found a recording of the song in a flea market and gave it to him as a present. As soon as he heard Louis Armstrong's gravelly voice sing the first few lines, he knew he wanted to capture the joy of the song in a picture book

Beautiful and sentimental

I love this book! We played this song at my grandpa’s funeral, so when I saw this, I knew I wanted to get it for my baby who never got to meet his great grandpa. I like to read this to my boy and think of my grandpa. The illustrations are beautiful!

Love the artwork with this book alongside the quality of the board book itself. We enjoy reading it with our baby and he seems to be very engaged in the artwork on the page due to the myriad of colors used by the illustrator. Would recommend or gift to friends
