The shams are pretty but not nearly as vibrant as the photo make them look. With a pillow in them (although I have to admit I used king pillows because I didn't see 'standard') they don't look as tailored as most shams, it's more like a pillowcase. Also, as Jane in Kansas stated, the photo shows 2 shams and the caption shows only 1 but the description in two places, clearly says 2. I think they are rather expensive for what really are pillowcases and I am still debating about whether to keep them or not.

The picture shows two pillowcases. I did not read it carefully as I assumed one order included 2 cases as was shown. $30 for 1 pillowcase is more than I would have spent had I realized this when I made the purchase.
