Beautiful file cabinet. Love the gray color. Was easy to put together. Perfect for my printer. Well made with a great price.

Actually came online to recommend this to someone else looking for something. Was shocked to see all the negative reviews and that prompted me to write my own. I have had this a couple years in my office and it’s held up beautifully. No quality issues at all. It’s been a while since I’ve put this together but I don’t have any bad memories of it being difficult and I’m not the best with assembly of stuff. Anyways. Just passing along my two cents

This piece was extremely difficult to put together. Many of the boards were uneven, damaged, holes were not or barely predrilled, several holes didn't even line up and holds many flaws that are visible when assembling. For the price I thought I was getting a goodish quality item but this is absolute hell. Do not purchase this, get something else no matter how cute it would look in your home office.

Several broken pieces and locking fasteners that do not lock into place makes assembly a nightmare. We eventually had to rig it up to work. Standard file folders do not fit. Drawers and sliders do not fit nor work well.

It was a nightmare to put together and I had to take multiple breaks over two days because it was so frustrating. When I was close to getting finished, the drawers wouldn't fit right, an anchor bolt broke, and the drawer tracks wouldn't fit together. My husband finally had to take over and was able to rig the thing to make it useable. It looks good, but the item is just a piece of crap all around.

I have assembled IKEA and other furniture for YEARS, but this was a challenge. The wood is CHEAP, particle board, but poorly made. The pieces had some manufacturer holes filled with filler and colored over to hide. One of the SMALL pieces broke in transport- illustrating how poorly made the pressed wood is. The metal anchors snapped and broke while assembling the cabinet. Some of the round locks were SMALLER than the whole they are securing. The some of the wood pieces cracked when tightening the locks. When finally assembled... the drawers were a small fraction of an inch WIDER than the cabinet opening so they wouldn't slide in and out. Had to return this thing into the STORE... was a hassle hauling it inside.

A nice item for the price. Must be prepared to deal with poorly given assembly instruction.

Worst item ever. Directions we're horrible. Parts did not work correctly. Ended up taking it back. Target should stop dealing with this company.

Beautiful furniture! Sturdy, taupe grey finish. Took 3 1/2 hrs to put together. Shocked that neither regular or legal files fit. The slots are 1” too big. Now it can’t be used as a file cabinet!

Great product but lengthy to build due to majrity of parts not being labelled.

The structure of this item is sturdy overall but a pain to assemble. As others have mentioned, the parts are not labeled properly and the screws provided is hard to install which may cause the screws to strip. With patience and persistence, you will be able to assemble this within 2 hours. Keep in mind that the filing space for the lower drawer is very limited...

I’m seasoned at putting together furniture but this one was a challenge. Instructions on putting this cabinet together were horrible. I would have rated this item higher if the instructions were better and I was able to finish putting it together. Some pieces showed up unlabeled. Ended up returning the cabinet.

This cabinet was a total nightmare - They neglected to mention that it has about 1,000 parts. All of which are poorly labeled. Impossible to put together! I can not believe that Target would expect a customer to assemble this cabinet.
