Wobbly
Not the sturdiest piece of furniture we own (might literally break if someone sits on it to tie a shoe). Very wobbly- even when things are set on top. At the same time, I feel like we got what we paid for and it does the job.

Meets niche needs, otherwise avoid
Looks pretty but build quality is low for the price. Holes line up but the wood is flimsy. Mine was quite visibly damaged in shipping. However there aren’t many narrow benches so this isn’t facing stiff competition if that’s where your needs are.

smaller than I envisioned, looks nice, seems sturdy, feel the basket shelf should have more room around the baskets. Great for a small space. I will give i to my daughter it is to small for the space I purchased it for. I wasn't home when husband put it together so I can't answer to that.

This is smaller than I expected width wise but it the perfect length for the space we’re using it in. The wicker baskets won’t quite lay flat/open all the way. Easy assembly and looks good. Perfect for my 4 year old to sit on to put her shoes on and the baskets are perfect for her shoes.

Easy to assemble, especially with a power hex screwdriver. Parts had extra screws, dowels. Appears to be made of solid wood and much lighter than particle. Some apparent damage repaired at factory and barely visible. This is a small bench, narrow width suitable for the narrow mudroom I had in mind. Baskets tend to get caught against posts holding up bench if not pulled straight out,

Waste of money
This was the most disappointing Target purchase I've ever made. After I ordered, I was informed that the item was discontinued. Yet it arrived a few days later on our doorstep. It's much smaller than I envisioned, but worked OK for the space we wanted it for. That said, I do not trust the weight capacity (200 lbs.) listed by the manufacturer. I am of average weight for my height (150 lbs., just under 5'9") and am the only one in our family that consistently sits on the bench to put on my shoes. And less than 6 months after we put it together, the side panels are cracked in 2-3 places. Also, don't plan on putting anything in the drawers that could snag (e.g., a knit hat or scarf). The wicker is poorly assembled and has several places where pieces stick out and catch fabric.

Bench is good size for small entryway. The baskets are very poor quality. They shed the wicker. Would not have heavy person sit on bench for fear it may collapse.

This bench should probably be cheaper but it is not bad. It will work for what it was intended, that saying I would not let anyone over 150 sit on it to take off their shoes. The baskets are shallow and the covers sent for the drill holes are not close to the same color wood, I may try to paint so it is not so obvious. This may last a year or two but wouldn't plan on much more then that.
