Walter Brown Bonded Leather Recliner Club Chair - Christopher Knight Home: Comfortable Seating, 250lb Capacity

I bought this chair for less than $230. I liked it enough that I wanted to buy another, but now it's priced at more than $352. While it looks nice and was better made than I expected, it's just not worth the current price. I would have paid maybe 25% more, possibly 30%--maybe up to $300 because I really wanted to have a pair around the fireplace, but $352 is just too much for this chair. A price jump of $130 in so little time is just wrong, Target.

I wanted to buy my husband an executive chair for years. This not only fit in my budget, but was more than we expected. It is extremely comfortable and elegant. It is perfect and adds class to our study! A little hidden gem I highly recommend.

I purchased two of this chair while on sale for $208. The first one came and I assembled easily. It is solid and comfortable. Reclines smoothly and "lays back fully" without issues. I did tweak the springs via the wingnuts on the buttom to remove some resistance and I'm happy with it. Keeping this chair. The 2nd one came a few days later and I assembled it and when reclining in it the left side "hit" before the right side. it was clearly lopsided and misaligned somewhere internally. I flipped the chair over hoping I could tweak a screw or something but no luck. The base itself was mounted and built "off". This was annoying because the first chair is "perfect". I returned this one via a local Target store and have ordered a replacement. Hoping the junky one is a fluke and I get a good second chair from the new order. Overall I really like the chair I described without issues. It looks nice. Easy to build; feels solid for the money. At the end of the day this is CHEAP furniture so I don't expect to last for ever. If you don't jump in it or try to break it, I think it'll last 3-5 years before the pleather starts flaking. If you're after nice looking chairs for a study or not-to-common sitting area these would likely last for yeeeears. I saw one reviewer said the back was hard to put on, and it is a little bit but it's supposed to be tight so it doesn't "slide off". Put the back on from behind the chair by separating the "back mounts" and guiding them on via the lip a little at a time. Once you have each side caught you can push down and "hammer with your fist". This may be harder for someone elderly or with back issues, in which case, get some help but it's doable for average adult.

Very affordable and easy to assemble. Classy looking for the price and very comfortable.

There is a gap between the back and the arms once assembled. Still happy enough with the look, feel and quality to purchase a second.

The chair requires some simple assembly when it arrives. The legs were easy but the back requires the attachment of two sides. The coloration one sllippped easily into place but the second side did not. After a number of tries it still failed to connect. The back is useless without these side pieces. The chair is going back. Because i was never able to assemble it completely, I know nothing about its comfort or operation. It looks great.
